Hi,

I’m looking for a relaxed guild with a large PvE focus. I am not a hard core player as I have a job and personal life outside of gaming. I enjoy PvE more than PvP, I also enjoy exploring and earning achievements. I’m also a big fashion/costume/mini pet collector hehe.

I play on Anvil Rock and my main character is a ranger level 20 right now. Her name is Zalira Packborn. I played Guild Wars for years and many many other mmos.

Our guild, The Renaissance [RISE], is a newly-formed, global, social PvX guild hailing from Darkhaven (NA). We have a laid-back community and we welcome people from all time-zones and are open to cross-server players as well. Currently our prime gaming time is between late SEA and early EU at around 12:30 GMT to 19:30 GMT, but we will be looking to expand it with our recruitment. We have no constraints on representation.

We are happy to take in new and experienced players alike who love to explore, enjoy random adventures, help others within the guild, and work as part of a team. Our belief is that everyone can benefit from this initiative regardless of their experience whilst maintaining an atmosphere of healthy fun and enjoyment.

Maybe my little home will be of interest to you. We’re called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smaller, casual/semi-casual yet social, 18+ PvE/Light RP family on Tarnished Coast (though as long as you’re on a NA server, it doesn’t matter too much unless you plan to WvsW heavily). Our peak time tends to be in the mid-late evening EST, though we have a few others from various time zones.

Knowledge of and/or participation in RP is not required.
We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact.
We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. Just leave a little note to let us know you’ll be away, and all is well.

We do not demand 100% representation.
It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us the majority (only 51%) of your time, if you can.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family.
We are very LGBTQ friendly and do not tolerate any sort of derogatory words, comments, bigotry etc. toward anyone regardless of nationality, race, religious beliefs, gender identity or sexuality. Anyone violating that policy is subject to immediate removal, no questions asked.

We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can, whether it’s dungeons/Fractals, builds, and other general game questions. All you need to do is ask. We also don’t do the “speed runs”, exploits, etc, nor do we require anyone to bring a specific class or build for any dungeon run. Bring whatever you want and we’ll have fun regardless.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

Hello Senuma! Though we also have a PvP and WvW team, The Phoenix Effect [RISE] has quite a large PvE presence, including achievement runs! Our home server is Tarnished Coast, though we accept anyone from any server. We are a relatively new guild – established in late March of this year – but we have recently reached over 100 members, and still maintain a friendly, close atmosphere. We hold frequent parties, contests and giveaways, and have at least one event scheduled every day. As mentioned, we are a very friendly bunch, and have many players eager to help others earn achievements, run dungeons and explore Tyria.

We run our event times on EST, though there are normally people on at all hours of the day. Our Teamspeak3 server is also very active, though by no means is anyone required to use it. We do not require 100% rep, feeling that GW2 gave us the ability to join more than one guild for a reason. As a community our main goals are respect of everyone from all walks of life; bigotry and disrespect of any kind are not welcome. We want to maintain a safe, friendly and positive environment for everyone.
