Hey I’m looking for a guild that runs dungeons including fotm on a daily basis, WvW would be cool also as I’m starting to get more into it as of lately since I’ve finally chosen a main. Only took me since the first beta weekend but I finally made up my mind haha. I have all classes other than thief with 35+AR so i can be diverse in fotm and have experience on many classes. I’m also on Jade Quarry(NA) but wouldn’t mind playing for a guild from a different server and am willing to rep 100%. Community is KEY for me. VOIP would also be an amazing plus to my decision

My name is Telana Dentari, humble emissary from the guild called Remnants of Hope. For generations, war and chaos raged across the land of Tyria. Five races competed and warred against each other, struggling to tip the balance of power in their favor. In Guild Wars 2, we participate in PvE, PvP and RP on the Tarnished Coast server.

What aspects of the game do we focus on, you might ask?

Remnants of Hope wants to give you the opportunity to build your own playstyle. This means we offer PvE, PvP/WvW and RP. You are free to play the way you want! Don’t care for PvE but love PvP? Go for it! Not so hot for either PvE or PvP but want to really immerse yourself in your character through role-play? Not a problem. Whether you’re casual, semi-hardcore, or hardcore, we’re right there with you. We don’t limit ourselves to one thing that the game has to offer, but all fields that we can conquer as an ever-growing community. Our focus is far from linear like some guilds might be, and we will make the best of everything we’re given!

We hold many in game events such as PvE dungeons, group role-play, PvP, and WvW. While role-play is not required of anyone who joins, we have many talented role-players and writers who work together to create a brilliant and immersive experience both in game and on our forums. Whether you prefer to weave your character’s legendary tale as part of our turn-based forum role-play or to bring it to action during in-game events, role-players of all types will find a welcome home in our halls. In addition to this, we also promote free writing on our forums and even hold writing contests to share stories both within the GW2 universe and beyond!

Sounds like an awesome guild! How many members are usually active at one time? Also do you guys use VoIP?

We usually have 20+ online at prime time, 40+ login regularly every day. And we use Teamspeak3 as our VOIP. =)

Is it ok that I’m on JQ? Or would you want me to transfer?

It would definitely make participating in events a lot easier. If you can manage a transfer, then by all means. If not, you can always guest over.

A bit about S T Y L E:
• Server: Jade Quarry – We are active only on JQ, but allow guesting. For a free transfer to JQ, you simply need to delete any characters you have created – so if you’re just starting out, head to Jade Quarry!
• Team: Our leadership team works hard to ensure that everyone in S T Y L E is enjoying what they want to enjoy in the game. We feel our job as leaders is to help facilitate your good time, and to lead by example.
• You: Can be anyone – new, experienced, young, old, and in-between. The (known) ages of our members range from college students to retirees. We don’t concentrate on age, only maturity. Conduct in guild chat is strictly monitored and enforced – no name calling, discrimination, or drama.
• Life + Laughter: We refuse to be ultra-serious, and we always keep in mind that Real Life comes first. As such, the guild has no requirements for representing (although not repping does affect your rank), TeamSpeak/Website use, participation in events, or other restrictions.
• Experience/Skill Level: S T Y L E does have a special place in its black, black heart for players that are new to GW2 or to MMOs in general. We do not believe in ‘noobs’, only players that haven’t had the same experiences as some who’ve been around longer. We are very happy to guide, party with, provide info to, and nurture new players. Or for that matter, experienced players who need guidance with a new/different aspect of this multi-faceted game.

• Who: We have 175+ members. Most active around 3PM+- EST, but members can be found online at almost all times. We are very active in guild chat and in the S T Y L E channel on the JQ TeamSpeak server.
• Activities: Structured guild activities are always evolving, and we currently host Sunday night Guild Missions (Rush/Bounty/Challenge); Tuesday Dungeon nights; Wednesday Guild Puzzle/Mission Make-Ups; Thursday WvW/EotM Havoc parties; and a monthy, rewarding Guild Lottery. Ad-hoc parties constantly form of S T Y L E members helping each other to complete personal stories, map completion, Fractals, random dungeons, or other events.
