This guild is only for girls.

I love to play pvp, but I mostly play with guys and I’m looking for more girls to play with. I have a vent, Skype, and TeamSpeak so it won’t be hard for me to get on vc if needed. I made a guild called Ultimate Girl Gamers [UGGs]. I’ll send you an invite as soon as I know that you want to join, and I’d like only girls to be in the guild. I can also PvE, but I don’t do it nearly as much.

I have been on Leaderboards before, but haven’t played much recently, so I’ve dropped off of it. I don’t really care if you’re on the Leaderboards or not, I just want to find other girls to have fun playing the game with.

It will help us girls to find other girls to play with, and to become friends with in game. If you’re interested, please add Shinju.1083. You can leave me a PM or whisper me if I’m online to let me know that you’re interested. You can leave at any time if you don’t find it agreeable.

Quoted because what the actual kitten. I’m in Guild with about 10 of those rare females. Not once have I heard anything about people flirting with them, and I know some of them rather well. If you’re not flirty, people won’t flirt with you. Get over yourself.

Possibly it is was added because she just publicly announced her gender. As the previous replies in this post indicates: Many saw this as an attempt to draw attention.

Maybe she is trying to make sure that no one misunderstands the intention of her post.
It is a: “No I did not make this post because I’m secretly desiring male attention, I made the post for the reasons I stated.”

That’s what I read into it anyway. But like the rest of you I can only provide my own interpretation.

Yeah to be fair, 90% is a huge exaggeration. Most guilds are pretty mature, but I really don’t blame anyone who is seeking a female only guild, just to make sure they don’t have to put up with that kitten. Half the members will probably end up being guys pretending they’re girls anyway.

When I first read the initial post, I thought to myself “Well, that’s a little silly – why close enrollment to the majority of players based on sex? Don’t you want the guild to be filled with good players?”

But then, the rest of the thread happened. It’s as if 90% of you read the initial post and said to yourself “Man, I am going to validate the thought process behind her decision. Validate it SO HARD!”

You are then again making a lot of assumptions there.

You make assumptions that we are “prepubescent teen boys”, that we don’t know what “sexist” is and that we “aren’t developed enough to talk to women normally”. Then you go on to call it truth. OK.

Using the same logic as you I can safely make assumptions too:

From the original post, OP is a feminist who thinks too highly of herself, seeing that she by assumption thinks a recruiting post could lead to guys wanting to flirt with her. She furthermore thinks it’s important that she’s married, furthering the idea of her being arrogant and putting herself on a pedestial. Lastly she’s making a “female only Guild”;

Let’s get the definition of sexism:
1. Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women.
2. Attitudes, conditions, or behaviors that promote stereotyping of social roles based on gender.

First 4 words. Discrimination based on gender. Done.
Now this is just a game, but consider if she did the same, hiring for a job. All kitten would break loose. One gets the impression that she is in fact sexist.

I had to add in the married and not interested in flirting part because the first post someone made, was in fact, flirting. I had that post deleted so other people wouldn’t follow his lead.

I’m not making this guild to ‘steal all the women away’. I’m only making it so girls can find other girls to play with IF THEY WANTED TO. So all you guys out there that are mad that I’m ‘sexist’ and ‘arrogant’, you can believe what you want. I just want the chance to become friends with other females, and play with them every once in a while.
