Guild Wars 2

Hi, I am looking for a new server to join. My interests are wvw mostly. I’m looking to join a t2 server. I would like this server to have a strong NA presence for wvw. I would also like if the server had a public TS or something like teamspeak. I hope that the community will be a strong one and have a huge wvw presence. It would be nice if the server had a mix of small and large wvw oriented guilds. I don’t want to join t1 because I keep reading about all the problems with joining t1 servers like the skill lag, outnumbering other servers etc… (Not sure if these are true or not but I’ve read about joining t1 and lots of people say they are.) if you feel your server might fit me, leave a short description/explanation on why you think that please. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield.

Before fully dismissing T1, please take a moment to consider Jade Quarry. We’re kind of, at the moment, more like Tier 1.5… not hyper-stacked like BG and SoR but still a bit ahead of the “T2” servers, and the community is great and a lot of fun. The JQ recruitment thread is on these forums and may be helpful if you’re interested in at least gathering information on us. Regardless, good luck on your search!

Would definitely recommend taking a look at JQ. They are a server filled with great people who could use more players during NA hours.

On a tier 2 perspective, I recommend looking into FA. It’s a stable server that has survived and even excelled against constant fierce competition. There is a good mixture of small and large WvW focused guilds. Would recommend checking out their community site at www.fort-aspenwood.com

Jade Quarry or Fort Aspenwood for sure. As far as the skill lag, don’t dismiss T2 from it, it’s there as well. The JQ/TC/FA matchup has been amazing fun this week (in T1.5 :P)

You can find server Teamspeak and great mix of size in guilds in any T4 and higher server.

If you are deadset on T2, FA could use you the most. TC is the most likely to slip into T1 if something changes while DB is growing a lot (no one can answer how many more they need before they actually venture out of their towers in NA primetime though)
