Hey everyone, got a group of about 8 players looking to transfer down tiers. We are currently looking for a roaming/havoc oriented server. The less zergs the better in our opinion. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Really, every good roaming server has zergs. AR is your best bet, they run a lot of smaller guild zergs and less full on pug zergs. Otherwise (IMO), your best roaming/havoc servers are Dh and FC. Dh is known for having a lot of players for our rank, hence being zergy. FC is known for having less, but forming massive zergballs with what they have.

DR is an good option. I don’t really know what you would consider a zerg, but the biggest organized groups you will see are about 15-20 people. You may see pug zergs in EB bigger than that but its not the norm. DR has alot of solid roaming groups. BRL, OHai, DTGA, HaVC, FOOK, and FN to name a few. Check out our website.

Seconding CD. We get some blobs on reset, and over the weekend, but there’s still plenty of room to roam.

SBI is looking for dedicated, positive minded, hard working players who get along well with others and seek to avoid drama. IF that’s how you guys roll, you should consider us. We are not interested in guilds/players who bring drama/trollish behavior, no matter how “good” they are.

At our current position there are plenty of opportunities to avoid big zergs much of the time. We have recently made strides in improving our map hopping to protect our upgraded structures, and to put pressure on enemy holdings, and things have stabilized after losing some of our population to the T1 and T2 servers.

Come to Kaineng! We rarely get more than 25 people together in either our borderland or EB zergs, so roaming groups can have a big impact. Our community is small, but dedicated, and there are primarily three more-involved WvW guilds: LoTA, SN and HERO. We usually fight pretty well together, but we simply lack the numbers to hold PPT for substantial periods, so roaming groups can really help. Let me know if you want any more info!

SBI is the home for you. We have plenty of room for havok groups, especially ones that would love to go on the offensive. We are also very fortunate to have a great core of players that have stuck around through 2 mass exodus, as well as some guilds that are pretty stable.

We have a strong militia as well, and a good positive community. All in all, SBI would be a perfect home for you. 1st place in silver league has already been decided, it will be DB or FA (no server in silver can match their coverage), but the battle for 2nd is going to be a fun one.

Since we don’t have a bandwagon presence anymore, you will find that we will remain stable during the 2nd season, as well as after the season ends. Contact slingblade, yulo, myself, or loren michael if you have any questions.

DR is pretty anti zerg. You may find a small zerg (25 people or so) running a karma train once or twice a week, but overall like to be more tactical.

AR is the place to be! Small but growing community, lots of skilled players to roam with.

^ yup I agree with sir Jorek Kell. I’ve met some good roamers on FC and AR. Dh though has a couple awesome roamers as well

The general AR wvw community has to have some roaming skills. Guild runs don’t exceed anything more than 30 people unless pugs follow our guild drivers. Only one guild can manage around 30 players on a good night. The other impact wvw guilds can average around 15 the majority of the week but not throughout all hours of the day. An eight person squad that can occupy a force of 20+ is a huge help in my honest opinion.

I came to BP for a week and loved the roaming there. The biggest problem with tier 6 and down is that there are no fights and if you do find one it’s a giant kitten 20+ guild farming karma. If I were you guys I would try to stay in that server or go to Yak’s Bend. Yak’s literally has no noticeable roaming groups but BP and IoJ have a few to keep you entertained. Word on the street is that tier 2 has some awesome fights on the BLs.

FC could possibly be a good option. Besides reset night, the amount of Zergs that you will see our match-ups running, are at a minimum. Good fights, and lots of roaming to be done on FC. Come wreck some havoc!

As he said most of our ‘zergs’ are on reset, after that its usually about 10-20 people maybe spread across all BL’s. Have the occasional guild group that goes and jumps in with maybe 20 people and runs while there’s another tag up taking stuff on the other side of the map. We see a lot of good fights against the other servers we play against.

I appreciate all the information you guys have been putting out there. Everything has helped. I guess one big thing is we want to get out of silver tier it seems. So CD is out. As far as roaming on BP, there is very little to do as a roamer, we either take camps (we are totally ok with this) or we get steam rolled by 15-25+ when trying to take a tower (most of the time). So we are looking to move down.

Aside from numbers, we are just looking for a good community as well. BP seems to have lost its community and isn’t nearly as friendly as it used to be.

SF has some dedicated roaming groups and no one is mandated to zerg anything. I promise

An unfortunate side effect for some of our more well known guilds is that people latch on to them when they see them running around however we do have dedicated WvW guilds that are smaller and prefer to be havoc groups.

I can also say that our server community is strong and our main goal is stable growth, however long that may take us. We like our WvW fun with some serious on the side.

what do you mean by “targets”

We are ALL small skilled guild groups in the borderlands on a community TS laughing and butt kicking.

If you want to rock 40 with 20, thats us. 15 with 5, thats us. To the CORE thats GOM. If you are those kinds of madmen, just open the gates.
