Guild Wars 2

Was part of one of NA’s top gvg and raid guilds, and lately I just prefer to roam – but unfortunately most ppl on the two servers I face dont fight unless they’re in a large zerg (I’m on JQ and we face BG and SoR regularly).

Ideally I’d like to transfer to a skilled server where I can face a lot of talented small man groups (10-15 ppl) and also have members of the same server involved in roaming. I’m open to joining a roaming/skill guild who typically fight outnumbered and sharing my experience if there are any in NA. I main a mesmer (burst, support/boons, and PU builds), decent thief and fairly good warrior for raids. I know how most of the top guilds structure their squads and skills, along with the strategies often used for fighting blobs.

I’ve heard a lot about the competitiveness in EU and was wondering if any NA players can comment on if they experience lag or if they’re getting good fights despite timezone differences.

If NS is recruiting, they’re pretty solid (or at least were, not sure anymore, haven’t been keeping up) at GvGs and competitive outnumbered raiding right on your home server so you won’t have to transfer. We over here on Fort Aspenwood might have what you’re looking for too; there are practically no queues at any time of the day and we have great times fighting outnumbered.

Come to Devona’s Rest. Small Scale Skirmishes are plenty. Small tight knit community. We have several roaming guilds that are amazing in 1v1’s that also are pretty hardcore PvP players.

Hi! I am NA and play on a EU server. I play FSP. My guild transferred here just as season 1 ended and we have never been happier with our choice. We haven’t experienced any more lag then what we had on NA servers.
We have found all the types of fights there are. We are never short of fights here. Both large and small. In fact we have had some of our best fights here.
When we moved we checked out several EU servers before deciding on FSP. They seemed to be the most balanced in terms of what we are looking for. You should really check out the EU servers.

lol I am ex-NS. Btw who do you guys usually match up against?

FA matches up lately with SoS, Maguuma, and TC, although with SoR dropping TC will probably stay firmly T1 and FA will probably face DB and SBI for at least a week.

I encourage you to consider looking into the Sanctum of Rall as a possible new home realm. The server community is committed to living up to its namesake’s dreams. Its likely to drop down many tiers where smaller fights are commonplace. There are several completely newly formed guilds made up of the people who stayed from the guilds that left. They are reforming and could likely use your help. All you have to do is ask around near the Vigil Keep.

The community in general wants to provide a more welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment for both Hardcore and Casual players.
