Guild Wars 2

Hello all. I’m looking for some advice on a server I could move to where I can find regular raids whether it is EU or NA. I’m on Aurora Glade right now and while the community is great all our wvw guilds are on at roughly the same time, a time that doesn’t really suit me. I’m looking for somewhere to go for a server that has some decent coverage when I’m on where I can find a good raid team. I play pretty much 7 days a week from 8pm-1am UK time (3pm-8pm EST & 12noon – 5pm PDT, at least that will be the times when we move for our daylight savings soon) and tend to run for another 3 hours twice a week. I’d be happy raiding a couple of times a week (so the late night ones would be good for me) and just passing the rest of the time like I do on AG though more regular raiding would be fine. So anyone with any advice to share on this please answer here or send a mail on the forums or in game to me.

Check out fort-aspenwood.com! We have a strong EU and NA presence with a lot of top notch guilds, and there are plently of pvx guilds you could join. I would have played on an NA World simply because Tarnished Coast is NA, yet, as a European player, I also understand very well and share the issues you have with EU Worlds. And I would actually counsel you to choose Tarnished Coast, seeing as it would solve all the problems you talk of. We currently have two crews running precisely between 8pm – 1am GMT (12pm – 5pm PST) among whom you would feel at home. Or as home as one may feel when led either by a shrewd Brit or a cunning Dutchman, veteran players who have been commanding in Tier 1 and 2 for well over a year.

At the moment, Tarnished Coast welcomes all off-hours players in anticipation of Season 2, be they Oceanic, SEA or EU. In spite of the fact that Tarnished Coast is a genuine melting pot nowadays and despite it having a solid, veteran WvWvW core in each of these time zones, there is no danger of queues during these intervals and we enjoy the privilege of being challenged by mighty adversaries throughout the day.

Thanks everyone for the replies and ideas so far.

I run 7 wvw characters which is where I get my variety from rather than by switching builds. I also do this so I can think on building synergies in small teams and so I know what to expect when facing all types of opponents.

For raids guardian, necro, ele (from my time in NP guild) and now warrior though I’m still quite noob at that class. I intend to turn two chars into commanders at some point so I thought I’d better try out the warrior before deciding. The guardian is my most used raid class followed by necro.

For roaming I use a mesmer though I have used that for raid builds when needed.

I use an engi when I’m tower sitting.

I use a thief when I’m on my own, to scout and go for sentries, yaks etc.

I’m more than happy to run guild team builds and re-equip (as long as I can afford it at the time).

check out SBI, we can use another person during those times. We have a nice group of players that play their heart out during that time.

Bandwagons never learn

Borlis Pass is one of the most stable servers in the game, – im not even in borlis pass but i suggest you and any EU/OCX guild to go there
