Hello all I’m luna and I need a new home. I’ve been on jq since the week the game came out. I did take a long break away from game as I got extremely bored. Now being back for a month I am hating not only the Zerg heavy mentality on jq but generally not being able to find any hardcore roamers. I roam in the day randomly and at least 2-4 hours late night. I also do spvp and some pve (mostly dungeons for da $$). I’m just trying to find a guild that focus on roaming whether that be helping solo roamers,small group havoc causing, or even zerg busting. Interested in low and mid tier servers pm on here or in game please!

Seph: See if you can find Generationz on GOM. He runs a guild called EC (Electric Celerity? Elephants like Celery? I don’t remember) That would fit you to a T. He runs no more than 5 at a time, usually less.

I think you’d find what you’re looking for on SoS. Here guilds are welcome to play the style they want to play. We have (in my opinion) the best Zerg Busting guild of all; [EP] Everything Purple. As for Havoc/roaming we have [ENVY]/[ftp] which are quite good at what they do. Those are simply two guilds out of the many WvW focused guilds we have here on SoS. ([EP], [CNB], [FW], [DIE], [FANG], [EK], [TS], [BEAR], [LION], [ftp], [Rx], [REND] to just name a few other WvW focused guilds)

We’d love to have you in [FW]; however we do focus more on Tagging up/Zerg Busting than we do on “havoc”. But, like I listed above I’m sure you will be able to find what you’re looking for very easily here on SoS. Those are just a few guilds from the many we have. Hope to have you fighting along side us soon.

GoM is a great roaming server! I also agree that Gate of Madness would be a good fit for you!
I know a guy by the name of Zaroth Dellwin who runs a hardcore WvW roaming guild called Advocates Of Suppression [AOS]. They have elite groups that roam in enemy borderlands to “suppress” their tick. He’s on often, feel free to PM him or me for more info.

ET is the kingdom of roamers. Almost every bug guild that wvws has a portion of roamers around that act as scouts while roaming. We have one great roaming GvG guild, and a couple guilds that are PvX that do Dungeons and roaming. Good Luck on your search.

GoM is buying roamers now? :P

GoM feels zergy for me when I fight them though their wvw makeup has gone through some shakeups lately. They used to have good roamers but I haven’t seen any lately. I think they transferred off. That’s not to say they’re a bad candidate if you want to fight other roamers. Just don’t expect to find much company.

For servers with skilled roamers, I like NSP, FC, AR. DH is not bad but they’ve been getting zergier this week so I don’t want to wholeheartedly endorse them. ET is the kingdom of roamers.

I agree that roaming is better in the lower tiers but sometimes I have a hard time finding a fight. My guild has been focusing more on gvg lately but we still roam every night.

Good luck in finding a server that suits your needs.

PS: JQ roaming blows. I tried it and I spent 90% of my time avoiding the zerg and every 1v1 turned into 15v15. That said, you can always find someone to fight. I had good fights with TKG (The Kelly Gang). At the time they were on BG. Not sure where they are at now.

I roam almost exclusively, and I’m far from a bad player. Perhaps you haven’t met me out there ;P. I’m that stealthless S/P human female thief with a fractal sword that always takes on larger groups.

far shiver peaks has some nice roamers I remember.
Of try Gunnars hold roamers, one guild TDA right now on our server has some great roamers.
