Guild Wars 2

Hey guys, my name’s L.J. I’ve been around on the mmorpg scene for almost 12+ years. I’ve played just about everything under the sun and have taken the time to do my research on Guild Wars 2. I haven’t played it yet but am hoping for the kind of environment that I’ve been looking for since back in my EQ1 days. I’ll cut right down to it, I’d prefer a guild with a bit more of the older crowd. Not that young people aren’t great but I’m here to enjoy myself and enjoy the game, not to trash talk endlessly for 5 hours straight and hear profanity blasting in my headphones every 2 seconds. I enjoy the company of playing with others who know what they’re doing and have the time to do it. All in all I’d say I’m a casual gamer but when I play, I play to win. Raids, dungeons, PvE & PvP; I can do it all. I’ve got the set-up to be good and I am good. Used to clan hop on Vanguard, ESO and WoW, but to be quite honest all of the appeal for those big hitters was lost to me after the base-line communities fell apart respectively. I’m hoping to find a group of you who enjoy gaming on an mmorpg as much as I do and are willing to do it with some good buds along the way.

Now as far as my roles I primarily play a healer but have been edging more towards a de-buffer/minor healer. I don’t mind playing thief/assassin roles but they’re fun as a secondary character. Healers were always my favorite and probably always will be. So far that’s the role I’m looking at going for in GW2.
