Mag is probably the most active GvG server in the game, and most of our guilds are rated in the top third in NA. We tend to spend our nights looking exclusively for fights against blobs open-field, and there isn’t a single guild that PPTs seriously. Our WvW community is extremely tight and our pubbies are actually better on average than most other servers (despite what it may feel like sometimes). We’re rude, crass, and competitive. I’ve been on Mag for over a year now, and I’ll never leave. It is, imo, the best server in NA. If that isn’t enough to entice guilds to transfer here, then we don’t want them.

Enjoy your coverage wars and PPTing for non-existant rewards in the game mode that ANet has been ignoring from day 1.

We are still looking for those one or two guilds to help support our server during the OCX/SEA time to help keep us afloat in T2 so we can keep up the good fights and stay the hell away from servers like arrowcarts bend.

Arc is a standup guy, talk to him and he will give you straight answers, he will not tickle your ears, if you are not right for Maguuma he will tell you. List of priorities for all Maguuma guilds 1.GvG 2. Knock-down drag-out adrenaline-filled brawls, if you make swords on a map we will be there within 90 seconds to kitten your kitten up 3. Bags 4. Generating tears on forums… Come to Maguuma and learn from the most stable and solid players in the game, you will not regret it. You will learn here, eventually when you defeat blobs that outnumber you 6 to 1 you will see why you came here,,, you will GET IT. Youtube videos from our guilds. Violent Resolution, Arkham, Pyromancers, Terror (TG).. INC to Gold League again.. Honestly [CT] (ex-[BS]) is not big enough to be listed here. We primarily roam in groups of 2-10 people. I have respect for fellow roaming groups [RAGE], [FEAR] and [Envy].

We’re having a ton of fun. I love it here. The attitude of Mag matches the attitude of [CT] perfectly. If OCX/SEA, Mag is a great place to be. I haven’t met an uptight kitten yet!

All we need is a small to medium OCX/SEA crew to plant us firmly in tier 2, your fights will include SoS guilds, Tarnished Coast guilds, Fort Aspenwood guilds and much more if we can get into gold league a second time (pretty much guaranteed if we get a night crew) If you like field fights and/or GvGs and play during OCX/SEA Maguuma supports these aspects of the game 110% and is perfect for you. There are some decent people on Maguuma. But to be honest there are better communities else where. I would stay opened minded and check others out also. I left Maguuma after my first 10 months there, its changed.Not saying its a bad place but you can find better elsewhere.

mag is a pretty fun place

We’ve been to t2 plenty of times at this point, did the 6th place gold league, and we want to go back. We can turn on the PPT when we want to (like qualifying for gold, this week where we tick +500 during NA) but generally we don’t like to do kitten like babysitting keeps and siege.

For a while Mag has been wanting some Oceanic or SEA guilds so we can get a stable seating in t2 and play at our normal, relaxed, fight-oriented pace. We won’t BS oceanic/sea and tell you you’ll have a fleet of pubs to order around, because generally we pull 10-20 people across all 4 maps for those time zones. They’re some die-hard players generally, but not a lot of them.

You’ll be outmanned and maybe hold garrison if you’re lucky. The main reason you’ll be transferring is you want fights, and mag oceanic/sea is the least covered timeslot in all of NA tiers 1-3

See your just being rude for me stating an opinion. I was telling people to look before they leap it’s wise advice for anything. I could be rude back but whats the point the last few post show what type of people you’ll find on Maguuma now.

As a request to Maguuma, please stop trying to bribe our guilds and others to transfer to your server so you are stacked up. Advertising your server is fine (great actually), however there is a line in the sand that has to be drawn when you are bribing other guilds to transfer to you. How is it morally ethical for you to pay for many many other guilds to come to you? Its like buying mercenaries.
Please, just stop. Or at the very least have the decency to not do it to servers who you are matched up against.

You’ll have a better chance prying a chocolate strudel from the grasp of Rosie O’Donnell than you’ll have getting me to contribute 1 copper to bring someone over to Maguuma from another server so I dont know what you’re talking about. But the irony of someome from SBI complaining about buying guilds is just bellissimo/wunderbar/chudesnyi etc etc…

Top 3 reasons to join Maguuma:

1. We have guilds that do everything from solo-five man roaming, scout, people who will actually defend and enjoy doing it, karma trainers, gvgers, NA players that will stay up to Oceanic time to help grind out that PPT.
2. No queues in Oceanic/ Sea.
3. Still better than Lil Wayne. But on a more srs bsns note: We have a great community, with open communication amongst everyone on the server.

Our NA is try-harding right now to get out of this crumby tier (playing long hours). As you can see, the other teams pretty much give up playing unless they can queue a map. This is Maguuma’s first ever fund-raiser to finally give us that night-cap safety buffer that we’ve never had.

This is the best recruitment thread ever. I love the tears from other servers. A+++++++, would read again.

Our PPT is higher than T1 servers like SoR and BG! That means Maguuma’s the #2 NA server!.

Looking for a new server. I talked to a few of the leaders from VR just a few moments ago and I liked what they had to say and their attitudes towards MAG. Anything anyone can add to help me choose MAG as my new home? I zerged quite a bit back when I was on DH, but once I moved up to a new server I roam/havoc more and I haven’t quite found a good niche/guild. If you need anymore details of what I like to do, and what I’m good at please send me a message or party up with me. I am currently guesting on your server.

Very unique and stable server. Could really use 1-2 OCX/SEA guilds and we’re basically done.

As for me, I’d like to get more fight-loving and competent militia around early NA hours. We got quite the experience pugmmanders around, music bots and a recently upgraded k train, here is a vid made by a mag player during a few rounds with DB’s SEA

Don’t worry most commanders don’t stutter or have a funny accent like I do :P

GvG is alive and growing on Mag/T2. Heck, even our pugs are doing it. Just today we had a Pug vs Pug 20v20 scrimmage.
