My friend from work wants to start playing the game, but his PC can’t handle the massive fights on Sanctum of Rall (my home server). So we are looking for a server for him to call home before he buys the game. His PC handles 15-25 v 25 v 25 fights without any problem. But when you get 50 vs 50 or large his PC starts to flip out.

So ideally we are looking for a server that is still active in WvW, but has smaller zergs running around all of the time. He also likes the idea that keep doors & walls might last longer than 20-30 seconds with a less zergy server.

Anyhow, if anyone has suggestions for him. Drop a response here plz.

Any T6 server or below would probably do the trick. With the randomised matchups its harder to predict with 100% certainty how to avoid accidently facing against a massive-numbers server but using that as a rule of thumb that should probably do it.

Good luck finding a new home

Well, you could take a look at NSP. It’s the server me and my guild call home. Zergs can become pretty big, but I don’t think 50 is something we run very often. We are active, but it really depends on what timezone he is at. Activity drops at certain times.

Have him give Eredon Terrace a try. Our “zergs” are anywhere from 5-10 during most times. We can occasionally get up to 25ish but those times are in the extreme minority. We tend to get a lot of respect from our opponents and other people in the forum for our tenacity and “never give up” approach.

Because our groups are so small, EVERY player can (and does) make a difference.

If your friend likes facing strong odds, laughs in the face of adversity, and enjoys recognizing the same friends every time he plays WvW, then suggest Eredon Terrace as his home.

Make no mistake though, he will be facing an uphill battle all. the. time. Staying positive is a requirement.
