Hello fellow players!

My name is Sky Avalon, and I lead the NA region of the guild Academy of the Mists.

INTRO
Academy of the Mists is an initiative to gather players who are interested in becoming competitive in tpvp from all servers and regions into one central location.

ABOUT US
We are a no-rep guild, so you get to keep the benefits of your primary guilds while joining. Everyone in the guild acknowledges the beauty of a organized, consistent group. Even if our team synergy is a bit off at first, our members will always stay strong. We learn and get better. We compete. And we have fun.

REQUIREMENTS
Academy of the Mists has a home for anyone, both casual and competitive. If you are looking for a super serious team, I can refer you to the GW2 Esports Subreddit Guild which I also admin. But if you want to hop into a tpvp match and have some good competitive games and learn to become a better gamer without having to deal with too much commitment, AOTM will be a better option.

HOW AOTM WORKS
The system we currently have in place is a pick-up group style, but you will begin to recognize the names and playstyles the more you play with them. If you see someone online, shoot them a whisper or put your status to LFG so the guild members see it.

We have also a TS3 server as well with rooms for NA and EU and we collaborate directly with the GW2Esports Subreddit Guild so they’ll be also available to party with. Feel free to join open channels to party up/meet people.

NA AND EU
As mentioned above, this invite is for both NA and EU players. Emon leads the EU region, but I will always take up more leaders in either region to keep things organized.

If you want just play some tournaments or test some build/classes – you are welcome guest.
If you are interested in more serious game – even better. We need more this kind of players. We can help you to master all aspects of tPvP.

HOW AOTM WORKS
All new players will be rank’d as Rookies, till we see what you can. Look up in Guild for any EU player to join them or to invite them to you party (or wisper for training).
Atm we are forming an tPvP first group for serious games.

Still looking for team members and some more active leaders that can organize our AOTM BrawlFest (unofficial name for scrimmages with only aotm members + friends) and our pug teams for tpvp! Anyone can become a member, but if you want to become a leader, I am going to put you some case study scenarios to see if you are best fit for the job (Basically behavioral questions)! I encourage everyone who joins AOTM to bear with me if I fail to get everyone involved at the moment, I had a harsh week last week with a huge deadline, but I should be free and ready to meet the new members starting today. This is exactly the type of thing I’m looking for! I’ve recently been getting into tPvP a lot more, and although I’ve learned quickly I’m still relatively new (rank 10 at the moment). I generally pop online and start asking around for people who want to team up, but I’d like to find a more semi-consistent group to run with. Nothing crazy like required schedules/practice time, but maybe 5-10 people that play a lot together, that way if some people aren’t online, there are enough that can fill in.

It sounds to me like this is the type of thing that they AOTM is looking to do, so please feel free to send me an invite (or I’ll whisper you in game).

I main a mesmer (NA), but I’ve played guardian a decent amount, and I’m 100% willing to learn a new profession depending on what a team needs. I tend to enjoy varying roles anyway.

We´re still looking for new and experienced players alike to grow the european AOTM community.
I´m trying to get everyone involved in fun scrimmages and matches and currently I´m planning on some future mini-events.
Also, as soon as they´re out, we will definitely have at least one custom arena.

We don’t have a website unfortunately, but hopefully that makes it easier! I can send you a guild invite in-game and introduce you to the crew. I am a little burnt out so I will get you familiar with my other NA leader to help you be able to get groups together more often.

Awesome, thank you! I work every day except monday from 5-1030, so my main hours of play are between 11pm and 6am EST. I tend to wake up pretty late (330, 4pm) due to that schedule, but am getting back into a more normal sleep routine, so I’ll also be on between noon and 4pm EST. Thanks for the invite, see you ingame!
