Expletus is a guild which has been around for quite awhile, from the earliest WoW and GW1 days in one form or another to now. It was created with the idea to have fun and foster a community ideal between its members.

Our Beliefs -
Expletus is the Latin word for Accomplished/Compete/Fulfilled, and that is the belief system that we bring to the table. That our goals and yours should be accomplished, that you should feel fulfilled in your endeavors, that all tasks before us should be completed. To create this we believe in a few tenets.

• Respect – We all know that we have different ideas and ways of doing things. Each person has the right to their own opinion, and sometimes you may not agree, but working together can make us stronger
• Determination – As a few of us are old school hard core raiders, we know the want to get things done. While we joke, mess around, and generally have a good time, when its time to get things done, we expect like ourselves to serious up, come prepared and be ready to do what needs to be done to get a raid boss, fractal, or any other difficult content done. We all want the big W, but we are only as strong as our weakest link.
• Fun – If you’re not having fun, then what are you playing a game for? We want to make sure that even if were being serious on a run that were still having a good time, being able to joke, relieve the stress and be part of a community is essential. Dark humor always makes the situation a little less tense.

About Expletus -

• We are an NA Guild, based mainly in the afternoon and evenings PST/MST. All are welcome.
• As a PvX guild we try to stay involved in all things, WvW, PvP, fractals, dungeons, and Raids. That being said, our current focus is PvE and Raids at the moment, and we are interested in branching out into more PvP focus if those come along that are interested in such things
• A few of us are old school raiders from WoW, and old school GW1 players from the very beginnings of the game. We strive to bring the lessons from these areas to help everyone with the new raiding content, and succeed together.
• Repping is not a requirement except for when doing Guild Events, such as Raids, or Guild missions, as influence is no longer an issue we believe people should be able to rep/unrep as they please
• As with above, we believe the guild should provide, all upgrades are covered by the guild leader and officers, while we appreciate any donations anyone wishes to add, we don’t not believe anyone should ever feel obligated to give, we are here to create a community.
• Our Guild Mission times are One hour after reset on Fridays (8PM EST). (To be changed to reset during daylight savings time.)
• Our raid day is currently on Saturdays at reset (7PM EST)(To be expanded upon as the need requires)

Communication –
We have a Teamspeak3 server, and the obvious guild chat to allow communication between all members. We do not have a website as we have found in the past it be unused and generally a vestigial appendage to the guild. We also have a guild PvP Arena and current level 45 Gilded Hallow guild hall available to all members.

Recruitment –
We are looking for those that share in our belief system, and have the desire to complete the content currently in the game. Raiders, fractal runners, even the general casual player that wishes to be part of a community are welcome. Any PvP’s and WvW’s are welcome to help us branch further into these areas.
