Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone,
I’m an officer of a medium size guild, pulling about 20-25 players a night, sometimes more, considering transferring for a home in another, likely lower tier NA server. We generally dislike blobbing and are looking for a server that has guilds with generally the same mentality. We like to rally up and start our run around 6 PM Server Time, every night, but have some members on at all times of the day.
Right now, the servers that have our interest are:
Sea of Sorrows
Stormbluff Isle
Yak’s Bend
Borlis Pass
Ehmry Bay
While we always run untagged during our guild hours, we do have players willing to tag up and help the militia organization of a server at our off hours, specifically the EU Prime timezone. So if your server does have some people in off hours who would appreciate their ranks being beefed up a little, all the better.
We do not have a timeframe yet on when we might be moving, and it really depends on how quickly we get some responses, but yes, we don’t care about the WvW Season, and will likely be moving before it ends. We just don’t want to make this decision hastily, since, amongst other things, we are going to be giving up our Edge of the Mists beta invite to do this. We might be sending out some folks to guest to other servers’ LAs to chat people up about WvW though by the middle of the week…so please be nice!
If any people or guilds who feel they can represent their server in WvW would please PM me in game, or any members of these servers could let me know who to contact, we would be very appreciative.

We would love to have you with our NA crew at SoS. If you are looking for a challenge and will always have a fight join us. The person I could think of to whisper from our NA timeslot would be luvpie.8350 (Fang) if you are looking to chat with someone who has been on SoS for a long time or NyX YO (CNB) if you would like the perspective of one our more recent NA transfers.

Sea of Sorrows would be a great place to go. Your former server mates EP are already there and of the list of potential servers, SoS has the lowest queue times (if they even exist). Although I wouldn’t consider any of those servers as low tier…..

Northern Shiverpeaks is looking for more guilds & players just like you that are looking for a bigger challenge AND more time playing with less queues.

I’d suggest SoS. They could use more NA forces, and you’d get to fight some of the top tiers without having to be in the top.

Please let me know if you want to talk about SoS tomorrow or you can talk to guilds like cnb/city/rx/ep who recently came to SoS from other servers. We have guild groups thats run tagless when they raiding and we have militia groups of 35-45ish going against T1 groups and having decent fights. We don’t force players to play for ppt. We have lots of room and hardly have queues during NA on more then 1 map if guilds coordinate to go to same map. We let people karma train/gvg/open field skirmish/ ppt whatever floats your boat. All we ask is guilds respect each other & their playstyles and have fun. Our server ts3 usually has 100-150 players during NA primetime.

I recommend you SBI. Asian + Na community makes strong server. many asian already in SBI. and some sor korean will return to SBI too..

Thanks for the interest from SoS, but we basically got at least three critical core players from our guild members saying “Get us out of T1 lag. Now. We wanna be able to use our skills.” that wouldn’t have gone with us had we gone Gold League to Gold League and not improved our actual situation playwise.

So yes, we’ve gone to SBI now, on a much, much faster timeframe than we figured…

I would like to suggest our server, EU silver league Gunnar’s Hold.
Our only weak spots as a server are offpeaks/night coverage, and that’s what we are mainly focusing on boosting. Our prime time is in range of Gold League,we have a lot of WvW focused guilds.

Regarding of ques, Gunnar’s Hold only have ques during EU prime time(from 19pm-23pm) over night/day no ques, and that’s when we get almost all time get zerged by 50+ enemy blobs.
