Guild Wars 2

Introduction, we are a married couple looking for a casual, PvE, friendly guild.

Server preference: NA
Play Type Preference: PvE
Player Style: Casual
Active Time: We usually log on after the baby goes to bed… around 8 pm MST, play until 10:30 or 11 pm
Voice preference: We can use voice programs, prefer not to
Social preference: We would love to make friends, but also a community of friendly players that want to help each other out. We would love a guild with minimal swearing, especially over voice programs, as we have little ones that mimic at home. If there is a slight roleplaying aspect, that would be fun as well.

We have played GW2 for a little over a year now, primarily just grouped up together running around and exploring. We both have two level 80s and the HoT expansion. Our mains are a Mesmer and a Ranger, but we also have a Guardian and an Engineer, and then some scattered Alts.

We realized after about 7 months of being level 80s, that if we are going to be able to really progress, we’re going to need a guild. We want to get into Fractals to increase our gold income and feel completely clueless where these are concerned. We also have goals of completing the living stories, unlocking Masteries, and doing world completion (we’re at 64% currently!).

That is really awesome that you and your wife are able to game together and find a similar enjoyment. Next step is to bring in the kids! being a father myself, I can totally understand the desires you have listed here, both for the atmosphere for your children and the need for something to just unwind with.

I think you would both be a great fit with us at New Outriders. We are a casual, family friendly, multi-mmo guild that has been around for decades and enjoy minimal drama in a friendly atmosphere. You’ll see in our recruitment post that we maintain a “PG” atmosphere in guild and voice chat because many of us have been there as parents.

We have a wide variety of playstyles within our casual requirements. We have people who like to login and do their own thing quietly, and others of us who enjoy doing things likeT4 fractal dailies and raids.
