Guild Wars 2

Hi there! I’m Mia, just returned from a long hiatus and I’m looking for a guild along these lines:

• Discord-based (ie active on Discord voice chat – I find it difficult/stressful to keep up with text chat while I’m doing things in game)

• active – enough that there’s usually someone around, I sometimes play at odd hours so it’s nice if there are people around when I am, and of course it’d be nice to do some guild missions and things in the “prime time” hours

• no racism, sexism, bigotry etc etc obviously

• no “one guild only”/representing requirements (outside of guild missions) – I’ve got some minor/less active guilds with friends who don’t play very often

• big plus if it’s on Tarnished Coast – I don’t do a ton of WvW but I wouldn’t mind trying it out some more and I’d love some company in running EOTM every now and then.

Bit more about me: I’m 32 years old, I’ve been playing GW2 for a couple of years now, I live in Sweden but usually play at evenings to late nights NA time (hence being on NA servers). Favorite things to do in game is run Silverwastes/whatever the current gold farm is (once a WoW gold goblin, always a … etc etc), EOTM, play the story/level alts – I haven’t done a lot of fractals so I would love a newbie friendly group to do that with as well.

Hello Mia! It is possible that you would have an incredibly good time here with my Goat clan guild. We are active in Discord when events are running, I have a feeling if you poked people they would show up more often. That is the one element that is obviously important to you and I don’t want to misrepresent what I’ve got to offer. People show up in our voice comms periodically and we are definitely on there Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday. There are a number of new players joining the guild too who would no doubt love to do farming runs.

[Oops] is a relaxed, friendly adult community going for almost 6 years now! While we do have members all over the globe, most are centered in NA, so it might conflict a bit with wanting an active voice chat during your hours. We do use Discord actively for text chat, with a growing number of users hopping in for daily voice chat each night. Like the guild who posted before us, sometimes it takes a little poke to get conversation going, but people are friendly and welcoming! We have no rep rule, but we ask that you chat with us somehow so we get to know you better! I was looking for exactly the same criteria as you were (no reqs, discord, active), and so far (other than my pesky Aussie timezone, which is on me) [GOAT] seemed to tick all the boxes.
