So I’ve been considering doing this lately since I’ve been tired of running solo for the longest time. I’ve been playing GW2 since the beta, and while I formed a guild with some friends on launch, they’re all MIA and haven’t returned for the expansion or basically much else.

I’d join someone else’s guild but I feel it’s better to form a smaller guild where I’d know most of the members, and be able to use my skills to enable it to be something great. A larger guild would likely have no use for my website design/license, or be unwilling to adopt it for obvious rank/trust reasons.

I want to try to see if I can make a small tight-knit guild with some people, if anyone is interested in the idea. Ideally it’d be people 18 or older I think, with a PvE focus. Currently I’m on Tarnished Coast.

I have experience doing a number of web-related work so if this does happen I’ll set up any of the following to get things rolling quickly:

• Website – I own a license for Xenforo that’s been gathering dust, but yeah. If you need a sample of what I can get up to, I’ve done some work on my friend’s website http://www.xmpstudios.com.
• Will probably install or make a mod to enable item tooltips on the site, as well.
• Discord or TS3 (Whatever people prefer, though I find Discord is simpler to use)

I’d also like to meet some people who know a thing or two about raids as I’ve not dug into those yet.

Looks like we’re sitting at about 5-10 people so far, depending on how things go. Also looking into trying to drag some people I know from launch back perhaps.

I also do not have Steam. I am lame like this.

I’ve just returned to GW2 after a 2 year break after my original guild disbanded (I still need to download HotT /cry). We were a very close-knit guild so finding another online family to call home again is a wonderful notion. I’ve been a part of GW2 since Beta and used to play as ‘hardcore’. I used to play a ton of PVE and Fractals (my prefered areas of interest) with a few dungeons under my belt, although, I feel like I’d be a bit fuzzy on some of these details – I would need to review how-to’s and Youtube vids again before traversing this territory with relative ease.

My current jobs, however, have pushed me into the casual to semi-hardcore category (depending on the week’s schedule and deadlines). I suppose the most pressing question I’d have is if this guild is centered around casual, semi, hardcore, or open for any player type? I would love to join but would be forced to be casual most weeks. I could be your veteran player sitting on a lawn chair yelling at people to get off of their lawn.

I am also willing to jump plains of existence to be on your server (currently DarkHaven).

I am also, also on most evenings midnight-3am Central Mon-Thurs and can be found at any random time Fri-Sun, if that’s a thought of curiosity.

Generally speaking I’m open to whoever, I don’t consider myself to be super-hardcore as it is but I’m open to that kind of person if they want to do some of that kind of thing with us. I don’t know how much WvW we’d be doing (some of us being on TC and others on GoM, my original server.) So I wouldn’t worry about that too much.

I expect we’ll be PvE focused with a touch of SPvP and maybe WvW if people are into doing that.

Honestly I haven’t done any dungeons in over a year, but that’s mostly because I would only do runs with guildmates. So we’d all probably be due for a refresher I’d guess. lol

At any rate it seems you pretty much play at the same times I do anyway, so that’s a bonus.

Glad to know that you guys are roughly on the same clock as I am haha And I’m not too into WvW myself unless others really wanna drag me into it. If I were to transfer, would I go to TC or GoM? Has a physical guild been established yet?

Bump – we claimed our guild hall this weekend and we’re relatively close to having our guild bank right now, as well as the scribing workshop. (Guild level 4 as of this post)

Website’s also received some upgrades including a frontpage.

Working on tooltips for the site soon, we’ll see if I can work out how to make them work.

I went ahead and made a new thread with some proper titling a little while ago.

Currently we’re at guild level 11 & growing, still looking for more people interested in joining. We have a guild bank, workshop, PvP Arena(Rank 1, Rank 2 is WIP), War Room, and a Guild Trader. We are also in the process of building our guild portal. (most of our players are on GoM or Sea of Sorrows for WvW related stuff.)

If anyone is interested in joining us later tonight, we’ll be running a hard difficulty guild bounty.

Also we recently went through with a rename since we found a name we liked better, so don’t get confused if you notice that we’re running as “Regrettable Decisions [INC]”.
