Guild Wars 2

Hello there Guild Wars 2 Community!

As anyone knows,no one can fit in every guild ever.A problem every player faces at one point or another.
I’ve been in Tyria since Guild Wars 1,and know my way around the lore and it’s world.
Also playing Guild Wars 2 since it launched back then.However I haven’t been able to find a guild so far,that actualy suits me.Or that I actualy fit in.

What is important to me,is grouping up and play together.The guilds I have met,and Im talking about the ones I have been in,and ones I haven’t – were all focused on PVE.Yes.Thing is though,that they only grouped up for dungeons.
I however am looking for a guild,with which I may explore Tyria together.As in clearing maps,leveling together,visiting dungeons etc.
So far I haven’t been in luck for that.

What could I say about myself,to make myself seem a bit more attractive for the guilds out there?

-I’m 22.
-Lore Nerd.
-Loves to group and,and actualy play together.
-Laid back,and wont complain even after few wipes.
-Patient,friendly,polite and social.Oh and talkative.In case the topic grabbed my interest!
-Sees no need in being the best player.So I wont know THAT much about builds,sigils etc.

What server are you on? I have a guild on Maguuma (LG Mercs [LGM]) that I’m slowly rebuilding and thought you might be interested in. We’re just a casual guild at the moment due to lack of active players, but I’m hoping to change that with active recruiting. Once we have several active players I’m planning on running PvE content whenever I’m online including dungeons, fractals, world bosses, living story content, or just running around in a group leveling and what not. In the future, if enough people show interest, we may even start up regular WvW runs or PvP groups.

At the moment, I couldn’t offer much more than a friendly face or two, but I’m online most of the day whenever I’m not at work if you want to drop me a line or just ask some questions. I’m currently on Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT – which is just AEST+1hour because of our silly daylight savings routine) if that helps.

I run a smaller guild called The Gryphons Aerie. We’re a casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. We run on mostly an EST time frame but we do have several west coast, European and Asian/Oceanic time zone members.

Knowledge of and/or participation in RP is not required.
We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP (although we don’t have a regular WvsW showing) and we do have our own sPVP arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact.
We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. Just leave a little note to let us know you’ll be away, and all is well.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family.
We are very LGBTQ friendly (with several members of the leadership being either part of the community or allies of it) and do not tolerate any sort of derogatory words, comments, bigotry etc. toward anyone. There are quite a few women in the guild, myself included.

We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can, whether it’s dungeons/Fractals (which I love to help teach), builds, and other general game questions. We also don’t do the “speed runs”, exploits, etc, nor require anyone to bring a specific class or build for any dungeon run. Bring whatever you want and we’ll have fun regardless.

There is no requirement to be representing us at all times.
It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us a fair bit of time too.

It’s ok if you’re not on Tarnished Coast. There’s no need to transfer right away or at all. You can always just guest with us for dungeons, fractals and other sorts of mischief that we may find ourselves in.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

It sounds like Fort Aspenwood Ascension would be a good fit for you! We’re a PvE guild with a focus on community building. We do dungeons casually, while our weekly scheduled events are things like temple trains and map completion nights. Last week we had a night where we explored Orr with our alts, and this week we’re going to do the same in Frostgorge. I’m going to schedule jumping puzzle nights as well, plus guild missions once we unlock those.
