Oh My Gerd [GERD] is looking for new membership. GERD is just over a year old, and is looking for a fresh start. We aim to maintain a close-knit, focused group of players. While we will be looking to host regular activities, dungeon-runs, and WvW goups, we are very casual and friendly. It is a low-pressure environment.

We have a Web site that is still in construction. We are hoping to launch within 30 days.

VOICE COMMUNICATION

We will be using Teamspeak 3. We are working on getting a dedicated server online. This process has already started, but the Web Site/Teamspeak Admin works full time. It is coming soon, but we ask for patience.

ACTIVITY AND REPRESENTATION

When our guild reaches its recruitment goal, we will be offering nightly dungeon runs, WvW groups, other coordinated PVE events, such as Living Story and Dailies. There is room to advance, and we have officer positions availalbe, who will help organize and manage these activities. Representation is mandatory when participating in guild activities. It is otherwise not mandatory 100% of the time, but if we notice that you are A) scarcely online, B ) not participating in guild activities, and/or C) seldom, if ever, repping, we will give you fair warning that you are eligible for a kick.

Also, we are open to members in other servers, but they will not be able to participate with us in WvW.

WHAT KIND OF PLAYERS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Above all, we are looking for social and active. We do not have an age requirement, but be warned: it will be very adult-oriented, with little restrictions on language or references. If you are underrage and you have a sensitive disposition, then we regret that GERD is probably not for you. We only ask that our members be mature, affable, and simply not be annoying.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

Our atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and we are new-player friendly. We are striving to create a community that is active in helping their fellow guildies, such as helping with dailies/events, acquiring AP/titles, leveling, crafting, earning better gear, and suggesting viable builds. We also make sure that our officers are hardened veterans. If you want to be a dungeon coordinator, for example, you’ll need the Dungeon Master title, which the guild will actively help you persue by scheduling nightly, organized dungeon runs upon request.

We also activate guild buffs as often as our influence allows (When a time comes that we are drowning in influence again, it will be ’round the clock).

Other incentives will follow once we meet certain recruitment goals.
