Guild Wars 2

Project Knighthood is a new guild started by me and a couple guys who were looking for something different than most large guilds. We are pretty small now, but are getting the foundations set in stone as to be able to grow.

Our Philosophies-

• Respect: Every player deserves respect. We’re not only players in a game, we’re all people outside of the game as well. There is just no room for causing unneeded arguments with other players.
• Creativity: The easiest way to explain this is, we believe that almost any build or weapon set can be useful. We are not the type of people who are going to shove our builds down your throat. Now, if you would like advice or our opinions on your build, we think that working together on builds is a great way to make the build the best it can be.
• Activity: Our guild has no rep rule the exception is when doing events with the guild. Since they changed the way guild influence works, and made it so you can see the guild chat of guilds you are not repping there’s no point in a rule. That being said, whether you are representing us or not, whether you are online 8 hours a day or on for 2 hours every other day. If you are not actively partaking in guild activities/ guild chat, then why be a member of our guild? Also, we are trying to create a guild that members will be proud to represent, rather than making them represent.

About our guild -

• We are an NA guild mostly playing in the afternoon / evening EST. We will accept members of any timezone.
• We strive to be a PvX guild, playing multiple facets of the game. For now we are focusing more on the PvE and PvP aspects rather than WvW. If you enjoy doing WvW that is absolutely fine, and if you would want to be a critical member in WvW efforts make it known to leadership and we can discuss moving int he right direction. We have members who enjoy doing world bosses, map completion, HoT zones, who play ranked and/or unranked PvP regularly as well as dungeons. We are not diving into raids as a group yet, we feel we are too small at the moment but it is something we would like to do eventually.
• We do not have an age requirement. What we have is a requirement to think before acting, and think before speaking. Age doesn’t define whether someone is mature, and it doesn;t define whether they’re a good person or not. But, While there is no SET age limit, if you are very young , we likely will have to pass.
• Guild leaders as of now come from a myriad of backgrounds. I personally have played dozens of MMOs over the course of 10 or so years. Sticking to a few for longer than others. The one I played most exclusively was Knight Online. We also have another leader who was a guild leader in WoW for many years, and another who has helped run/recruit for other successful guilds in GW2 already.
• We have a strong belief that members who make themselves active within the guild, whether it be by organizing content, helping new players, giving advice or other things earn the right to move up with in the guild. Any member who shows these qualities and is interested in more responsibility/ authority can always contact leadership about advancing.
• We do not have a set server for WvW currently.

Communication -

• Website: We currently do not have a website. We have been playing with the idea of making a very simple one, mainly just used for stamping down event times for the guild. We would rather you be talking to us in game rather than making you use a set of forums to do it.
• Voice: We now have a teamspeak! We believe Voice is really important for better communication during events where typing and doing other things at the same time is hard.
• Guild Chat: We want the guild chat to be an open forum for our members. Don’t ever feel like if there is something you want to talk about that you can’t bring it up with us. Leadership is mature and can handle most things very effectively.

Rules -

• Respect other players
• No religion or politics in guild chat. There is a time and a place for these, and guild chat is neither. If you are having a conversation with someone please take it to whispers.

Recruitment -

We are openly recruiting active players as of now. Whether you want to just be a regular member, run dungeon groups, be a voice within the guild, or are wanting more responsibility, we have a place for you. If you are interested in a specific role let leadership know.

Good morning and here’s a bump:)

Captured our hall last night and looking sharp as we start to upgrade it. Recruitment is open still.

We are a small friendly group that are not only members, but we actually do stuff together. If you’re like me you got tired of jumping on, asking in guild chat for help, if anyone needs help, or if anyone wants to hang out and you get no reply; then this is the guild you are looking for. Tired of opening the guild panel and see that out of X-hundred members 50/60/70 are online. Scroll down to the roster and out of those only a handful are repping. In our guild you don’t have to rep 100% but we do anyway. When you ask a question you get a reply. If you jump on TeamSpeak you don’t run into a wall of chatter from a clique that ignores your comments just because you are the new member. It sounds cliche but we actually listen and more than that, we care. Oh, and did I mention we treat new GW2 players as equal and valuable members of our community? Yeah, we even have a few Free-to-Play members. We don’t care about your experience level, your gear, and so-on. All we ask is you have fun, respect each other, and follow the rules our guild leaders set out in the first post.

Hey there, this seems like a really cool guild! I played a long time ago, but stopped because I got bored doing everything by myself. But I have decided to come back to this and totally restart. I need some help relearning the game because I have forgotten almost everything about this, or it has changed. Also, I want to play this game how it was meant to be played: with other players.

Project Knighthood is well organized, active and currently still looking for new members. Leadership is great, guild is friendly and the foundations for an upcomming strong guild is already built. The fun part is being apart of something and helping it become greater. Playing by yourself? You should give us a try.

Personally crystal desert, some officers are also on kaening, and some newer players are on varied servers. We don’t do WvW content right now, focusing on PvE and PvP instead. Because of this server means literally nothing. The only time server should come into play is doing WvW content or Edge of the mists ( also wvw). Thanks for reading our topic

@Nechoh: I’m working with the members to build up their fractal level. Personally I’ve done 49 under pre-HoT and a 70-something under new system. My AR is 119. So if you want to jump in and help progress the members now is a great time.

@Lyqht: You can also whisper me and I can send you an invite as well. Sometimes one of us will park at the character select screen. It will show you as being online but you won’t see whispers.

Hello. My name is Dan Pike. I am a fresh GW2 player and I would love to be a part of Knighthood! I am a casual player, looking to do mostly PVE, but might dabble in PVP later. I am looking for a laid back bunch who can give a little guidance and help occasionally. I am social, but not overly, and I like to converse but don’t want to feel pressured to level. I am fairly new too MMOs in general, but this is not my first. I figured I should look for a good bunch from the get go, as the social aspect is part of the experience!
