Renegatus [Ren] is an elite PvX guild based on the North American servers, though we don’t have a static server. We’re quite knowledgeable in the PvE scene, and most of our members are considered veterans of the game. That’s not all we do though, we have many players that enjoy the PvP scene. Currently our aim is to provide a platform in which our members can use to enjoy and successfully complete the content within the game, including high-level fractals (up to 100) and raid content.
What do we have to offer?

- Fun and socializing aplenty on voice chat and in game. We don’t always play GW2, we mix it up with steam games and the odd cards against humanity drunken nights.
- A roster that boasts some really skillful, interesting and patient players. (Minus the toxic attitude you tend to find in hardcore guilds. We don’t want that.)
- Fractal and Raid groups running throughout the day.
- Constructive advice regarding builds and how to improve your play style. If requested, veteran members can coach you through content.
- Competitive PvP players (mostly ranked games).
- Weekly guild missions during which we ensure everyone online/participating gets rewards.
- Helpful community that will try to answer your questions collectively or individually should you whisper veteran members. (We WON’T just tell you to /wiki it!)
Our guild has a unique structure whereby each aspect of the game has its own captain that manages their respective field of expertise. While all our officers are excellent at most PvE content, some are more inclined to participate in certain content more so than others so you’ll always be able to find someone who will play with you. If you’re wanting to join the guild on the basis of wanting to raid (for example) you will have to meet that side of the guild’s requirements in order to qualify, during which you will be assessed by the officers most involved in raiding and be assigned to a raid team. This way people can identify your primary interests, resources and ability in that area so you can band together for that content. This does not mean you can’t branch out and do whatever suits your tastes, but what it does mean is that these you will be prioritized first and asked first since you have proven yourself to be interested in that particular content. Members are likelier to group up with people that know what to do and are known to them. By far the simplest way for all of this to be known by the relevant parties is to use our Teamspeak3 Server and become familiarized with our members.
What sort of players do we want in our growing family?
People who:
- Consistently and enthusiastically use voice comms.
- *Consider our guild to be their primary guild.
- Are fine with running the Meta and are adaptable. (All game modes)
- Have experience on all game modes, particularly with PvE (raid) content.
- Hit the ground running, can adapt to tactics and are open to learning.
- Are open to using Teamspeak3 and socialize with members so that we can get to know you and vice versa. (We stress that your ability to use voice chat will improve your chances of making this guild your home because that’s where the most fun happens).
- Are friendly, helpful and have a good sense of humor.
- Understand that teamwork is greater than solo play to achieve a common goal and are willing to make sacrifices to that end.
- Are exceptional players because at the end of the day we prioritize quality over quantity.
- Will represent the guild in PvE content, including but not limited to Open World Content, Raids, Fractals and Dungeons. We do allow representation of other guilds in PvP and WvW as well as bank guilds.
- Are over 18 years of age.
If you qualify for the above (and no you don’t HAVE to tick all the boxes, just most of them) then do apply or get in touch. If you prove to be quite awesome in a certain area we may fast track you into the static groups and make you a core player depending on what side of the game you excel at (as well as promote you). If you show the right motivation, we will help you meet the in-game requirements for entry to the guild (to the best of our ability).

Due to the large volume of applicants we have been receiving lately, we have decided that in order to qualify for entry to the guild as a “raid” applicant, you must meet the following requirements:
- At least four classes fully geared (as per the meta) in ascended gear and “raid ready.” “Raid ready” means that the class must be easily/conveniently accessible at the request of a raid leader. We don’t want to spend half an hour waiting for you to scrounge trinkets off of three other characters.
- At least three classes with which you feel comfortable raiding with and have a good deal of experience on. (These classes must meet the meta as well.)
- Experience killing at least FIVE (5) of the raid bosses. Each kill you do not have lowers the possibility for your entry (with zero having no possibility) and having all kills increases your chances greatly.
