Guild Wars 2

Hi there, I’m on the Sorrows Furnace server, like I said, in North America. (I’m not sure how to change servers yet, so I’m open to anything honestly, I’m just noting that’s where I currently am!) Basically I’m looking for a casual guild, but one that likes to meet up and do all kinds of things at least once a week. I am also looking for my husband to join a guild too, he’s got a warrior at level 80 and likes to play front-line tanks. He currently has a Necro in the works with me around level 36.

I’m mostly looking into how PVP works since I was relatively new to MMO’s when I got Guild Wars with my husband about a long while ago now, probably a year and a half, and we still haven’t done large-scale group games!

I tend to play Rangers most, but I have a Thief character. My Ranger is already level 80, Asura, and my Thief is who I’m currently playing and leveling now at level 35. I’m not 100% on builds, I just kind of pick traits based on what I’ll actually use while playing, so I’m not built on anything specific, just based on personal utility.

I’m a large Completionist person on maps, but I generally keep that kind of game to me and my husband since it’s our way to kick back and relax together, so I’m not really looking for completion games with a guild, just mostly group events like dungeon raiding, PVP, and maybe Fractals – things along that line. Basically I’m looking for more of an active team to do more serious stuff with, and also close knit like a group of friends. I’m shy and sometimes just like to chill and chat to folks too.

I’m not up to voice chat, only in-game chat for personal reasons. We do not have Heart of Thorns, so right now I can’t necessarily hang out in any guild halls, I’m hoping we can fix that later in the future. .) My search is a lil specific, so if anyone’s interested, lemme know. I’m pretty flexible and like I said I can swap servers if you’re elsewhere if you tell me how, haha.

:EDIT: As a time-zone update because this was a issue a bit ago! We have a 3 to midnight work schedule, which means we get up at 11 pm normally and go to bed around 2 am EST time. It’s a strange time even for normal EST folks, so unless it fits within this schedule with work, we cannot play; especially if your guild is rigid on the amount of activity coming from members. I’m looking for casual because we’re still testing waters on whether this will work for us or not.

Hey Zothis! We have a casual PvX guild, meaning we do a bit of everything. We do have teams for PVP, and we do weekly missions for that. We also do Fractals, World Bosses, Guild missions and the HoT content (when you and your husband get it).

Also, as a sidenote you do not need HoT to enter guild halls! Which means you could come hang out in the guild hall and admire the red lanterns we spammed carefully decorated with.

You and your husband are both welcome to join. Many of our members have odd hours as well, especially me (I don’t have a sleep schedule). We’re called Æternal Senate [AETH], and if you and your husband would like to join you’ll have an invite waiting for you, and I can give your husband an invite as well.

OH! I didn’t know you could enter Guild Halls without HoT! I was under the assumption they were only open when you had the expansion since it was an update from it? Neat!

I’m testing out a couple guilds I’ve had messages from at the moment so if you’d like to send me an invite, we could play together sometime and test out the waters! I have to go slow though because there’s about 3 who messaged me now (so nice!) and I just want to be sure we’ll all mesh well and be able to work together and joke around and whatnot, you know the deal. If you’d like to shoot me an invite go for it! Husbando probably won’t join yet, this would mostly be me checking stuff out and deliberating with him in the meantime. We sit beside each other when we play anyway, haha.
