Some background…
Syndicate of the Shadows[SOS] was made around the time the game came out. We used to be a pretty large guild consisting of 200-250 players. In 2013, most of us decided to join other games such as Everquest or ESO and the guild split.
In 2015, the guild was revived again when new and old members came together. After more than a year of fun, the same story as 2013 happened. We all slowly got busy with real life or got burnt out by the game.
And now some of us are back again!
What we are now & what our goals are
There’s only a handful of us that have returned. [SOS] currently consists of 73 members (as of April 4,2017). NOTE Most veteran guildies are still in the guild, but are away. That’s why the number may see a little high for a small guild.
We are a mature group of people who are accepting players who are veterans and new to the game. We are also LGBTQA friendly.
Our goals:
- 18+ Preferred (Being matured and respectful is all that really matters)
- Small, friendly, and helpful environment.
- Very casual, enjoy the game and have fun.
- No rep requirements at all.
- Absolutely no discrimination or bullying.
- We accept anyone from any server in NA (our home is Darkhaven)
- We believe in quality > quantity
It would be also be a plus if we could find people that loves to do fractals! It would also be great if people want to learn how to do fractals. We can help! We have some members that would love to do more fractals daily.
What do we do?
We are mostly PvE. There are few players that PvP as well. WvW never happens since we’re all in mixed servers.
We are a very casual group of people. We do things we think might be fun! That could be map meta events or fractals!
Sometimes we do our own thing and that’s okay!
What can we offer and what can you expect?
We’re a small guild so we can’t necessarily offer as much as the larger guilds. We have a level 37 Gilded Hollow with every potion available (20% gathering, 10% magic find, 10% map bouns, etc).
In terms of guild missions, we do not have a set date for them at the moment. Most of the time we just do them when most of us are on or we do them when someone needs the commendations. Guild commendations and weekly rewards are easily do-able with few people.
We can offer a place to make new friends! We want everyone to have fun and enjoy the little things in Tyria. If you need help with something, say dungeons, we are always welcomed to help!
Please expect a casual and a small tight-nit guild to be casual and tight-nit. We all have something going on in our lives whether it be school, work, family, or just having a life in general. I would advise to not expect a guild to be on 100% of the time and all day.
Otherwise, expect a friendly and close-nit atmosphere. We all try our best to get to know each other as friends rather than another gamer.
