Hiya, bandgeekdp. (Which instrument do you play?) From the sound of it, my guild would be a great fit for you and your friend. We’re on Tarnished Coast and we have a solid focus on PvE. We love teaching people who aren’t as familiar with things, and welcome questions. Pretty much all of our scheduled events fall between 4:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. EST, and we don’t have any RP requirements.
If you’re interested, we’ve got an application on our forums. It’s pretty short; we use it to weed out trolls and elitists. If you register on the forums, you get read-access to our GW2 sections, so you can kind of poke around and see if we seem like a good fit. You’ll be able to see who all has logged on in the last day and read topics like build advice and scheduled farming parties, etc. If you like what you see and you think our community will work out, you and your friend can apply. =) (We’ve also got an FAQ in case you have questions, and I’m also available to answer if you wanna PM me.)
