Guild Wars 2

Hello!

I’ve been playing Guild Wars 2 for 6+ months and grow weary with Solo Queue; practicing rotations and duels can be done in this environment but with no guarantee of skilled opponents. I’ve joined a few PvP Guilds and have played with TS but not as much as I’d like. Every guild falls apart after a while or has no interest in actually practicing. I’m looking for a team to practice regularly with and work towards earning wins in tournaments to come. I will not claim to be godtier, perhaps B tier, but I want to devote the time and energy to raise my skill level in this game.

I’ve played most of the meta Warrior builds though my favorite at this time is Celestial Shouts with Sword/Sword + Longbow. I’ve also practiced with Necro, Guardian, and Ranger – none of these have nearly as many matches as Warrior though practicing multiple classes seems advantageous.

Some Stats/Information:
~1500 matches played with Warrior
~400 with Necro (Terror build / some Zerker games)
~200 with Ranger (most games played during the Spirits meta)

I have a calm demeanor in TS and do appreciate hearing about my mistakes as that is the only way I can improve upon them. Currently, I’ve noticed I am a bit quiet on comms and will have to work on improving my communication. This is something I hope to do with with like-minded players (competitive nature) who are looking to improve their skills and grow as a team. I am willing to learn/practice with any class.

I am in the Pacific time zone (PT) and generally play after 6pm on weekdays and anytime/all-day on weekends. Hit me up here or in game, Dawes.2378 (Jordawes is the Warrior’s name) any time!

Hey Dawes,

Read over you’re whole post and it piqued my interest because we have several similarities.

I am very competitive, take criticism well, but have a relaxed attitude with most things. I’m probably at a similar level of pvp prowess as you are, also with 1,500 matches and can re roll a few classes.

The big difference though, is that I am a PvX player and have been playing since launch. So my pvp play has been spread out, although lately it’s been more consistent. I don’t have a pvp guild for you to join, but I do have a reliable pvx guild that you could consider joining while you look for a more permanent pvp guild.

I am the guild leader, we’ve been around for 8 months, have 65 members and grow steadily. I’m an east coast player, but our guild events start at 7pm PST, so that fits your time frame. We use mumble. And because we are pvx end game, our roster is steady and we wont fall apart.

I play pvp the most in my guild and we don’t have regular practices, we mostly farm rank points for the loot on a pick up basis, often it might be me hopping into tpvp by myself. Currently I’ve been craving running in an organized group with rolls and proper rotations.

If you are interested in joining, I’d be up for playing a couple times a week and see where that leads us, at least until you find a better fit.

Hey Beorn, thanks for the response! I’m always looking to expand my group of PvP buddies and happen to have room for another guild. I have been fairly active with one PvP guild lately and might not rep anything else all that much, but if you’re interested in adding me in-game or throwing a g-invite my way I’d be happy to play with you / your guildies some time. I don’t really venture out of the HotM though I’ve considered it, joining a PvX guild might just help me expand my knowledge of Guild Wars outside of tpvp.

Hello Dawes! I was just about to put an add out for a Warrior when I saw this. If you are interested I would like to bring you in and see how things go. We currently have, full time Engi, 2 Ele, & Necro. Was looking for a Cele shout warrior or a really good Guard. Our current Warrior we have is unable to play as much anymore and is not on that often. If you want to join up with us for some matches go ahead and add me (I will do the same). At the very least we could bring you in for some PvP when someone isn’t on Talk to you later!
