Necrotic Insomniacs [NITE] is looking for new members! We live in Stormbluff Isle and we have a solid core group of members, some of us have been friends for 10+ years and have played multiple games together, while others we’ve picked up throughout the nearly 2 year lifespan of this game. Our core is unshakable and drama free, rest assured we will stand the test of time, so if you’re looking for a stable group to join, look no further.

First, a little bit about us…

We range in age from 19-35, and our leadership is made up of a council-like group instead of one singlular “leader”. We are a very small group, usually having only maybe 10 online at a time, max (looking to change that). Some might see that as unappealing, but I find that it means each and every member has more value than if we were 200 strong. Each one of us has a different background. Some of us came from mostly doing PvE – dungeons, Fractals, world events, etc. Some of us were hardcore WvWers, coming from reknowned WvW guild [StaR] from Sorrow’s Furnace. Some of us specialize in PvP… you get the picture. We dabble in everything regularly, and between all of us we have expert knowledge in all aspects of the game.

Each one of us has a deep love for the game, having spent thousands of hours playing, since the beta weekends before the game even released. All of us have multiple fully lvl’d/geared alts, and some of us have legendary weapons (that’s not meant to brag, instead simply to demostrate how “into” the game we are), and we’re willing to share our infinite knowledge, and also welcome any knowledge we may not already have, in an effort to make us all better players.

What we do…

We have people who play during the daytime, but for the most part our “day” on the game starts at daily server reset time (8pm est). We usually start by participating in the server’s fight against Tequatl, followed by the Karka Queen event. From there our group will decide what’s next. Usually a group of us will run a daily “dungeon train”, which consists of speed runs of certain dungeons; usually CoF p1 & 2, HotW p1, and CoE p1-3. If ppl want to do more than that, sometimes we will, but those are the ones we almost ALWAYS do. That will then either be followed by a fractal (we’re able to run lvl 50, but if ppl don’t have enough AR for it, we gladly run any lvl), WvW, or PvP, and we usually play late, sometimes as late as 4-5am.

In WvW since our numbers are few, we will usually either zerg surf in EB or one of the BLs, or will form gank/roaming squads to destory other solo/roaming groups. A couple of us have commander tags and will occasionally tag up and lead pug groups in a karma train, but generally we like to keep a low profile.

What we’re looking for…

We’re looking for people who share our love for the game. You don’t necessarily need to have 8+ fully lvl’d toons and thousands of hours played, but at the same time we don’t want to invest in someone who isn’t going to be present, or will quit the game a week after joining either. Skill level isn’t the most important thing, we simply ask that you have an open mind, and ask that you be willing to make changes for the good of the team (i.e. acquiring a secondary set of zerker gear to make dungeon speed runs run at maximum efficiency, or maybe making a support-based build for WvW, etc).

While this post may seem formal, our group is anything but, so I must warn that if you’re easily offended, we may not be the group for you lol. We use Teamspeak and we ask that even if you don’t TALK much, at least use it to LISTEN, as we don’t want to have to type to everyone like we’re in an AOL chatroom from 1995 (one of our members has been with us for over 6 months and we’ve never heard a word from him but he comes to TS and listens/types responses, so thats all we can ask for).

Whisper us for TS info, and we can run dungeons/play PvP/run EotM with you so you can get a feel for our group before you decide to join.
