Chariot of Fire [FIRE] – NOW RECRUITING NEW WVW AND PVE MEMBERS!!!

Chariot of Fire [FIRE] is a Christ-centered, family-friendly PvX fellowship that is located on the Northern Shiverpeaks server in Guild Wars 2. Originally created in 2007 in the first Guild Wars, the [FIRE] guild has a rich history within the Guild Wars community. Our members share a common goal: to enjoy the game in a God-honoring, family-friendly gaming environment. Our guild is based upon four major tenants that define us:

CHRIST-CENTERED: Our first tenant is Christ-centered gameplay. We intend to honor God in all that we do, whether it be in word or in deed, instilling our faith as we play by being an example to all of Jesus Christ.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY: Our second tenant is a family-friendly gaming environment. We want every person to play in a comfortable environment where they are free of excessive cursing, sexual conversation, trolling, and excessive rudeness.

FELLOWSHIP-ORIENTED: Our third tenant is fellowship. Our focus is to build up each other. We want members that that want to be part of a community that lives past the login screen of the games we play.

COMMUNITY-MINDED: Our fourth tenant is to be community-minded. We want to engage in activities with others on our server, as well as work together as a team with the others on our server, building community and cohesion on the battlefield.

Chariot of Fire [FIRE] is a WvW-centric PvX guild. What does this mean? It means we are not a WvW guild, so we are not considered hardcore and elite. However, we do more WvW than any other single activity within our guild, far more than a casual basis. We have multiple regular scheduled WvW raids, occasional WvW training nights, and many impromptu WvW havoc and pug support WvW activities as well. We regularly train those from within our guild that are PvE players or new-to-WvW so that they can enjoy WvW in a fun, coordinated, family-friendly manner. When not raiding on the battlefield, most of our members still engage in map completion, dungeons and fractals, living story, seasonal content, and many other PvE activities.

We will accept new members from ANY server, but those that wish to participate in our growing WvW sector will need to be on Northern Shiverpeaks or be willing to transfer to NSP from their current server. We are looking specifically for those that wish to participate in a community. We do not need the most skilled WvW players or those with the highest Fractal level. We want players willing to communicate, fellowship, and play together. We prefer players that are balanced in their game activities. 100% rep is not required, but primarily repping us is preferred.

Still looking for new blood! Looking for PvErs from ALL servers, both newer players or highly experienced! Looking for Sanctum of Rall members to rebuild our WvW community! Our small guild holds a very firm footprint in Sanctum of Rall, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

Gained a few more members, slowly building up activity! Had some great WvW raids and Tequatl raids (with [EG])in the past few days! Participated in Sanctum of Rall’s community guild missions on Thursday, where everyone got the opportunity to run through 4 different guild missions (great for small guilds that cannot do them). FIRE has great relations with many friendly key SoR guilds, building up our server community!

FIRE is surely making its presence known on the battlefield! Still recruiting, both for WvW players on SoR or willing to transfer, but also for PvErs that desire the family-friendly, wholesome environment we strive to maintain as a Christian guild. We don’t ONLY do WvW! But when we do it, we ensure we have fun with it, and train new members as we go! But, we are also active in PvE, doing Guild Missions with a friendly larger guild, nightly Tequatl runs with another friendly larger guild, and much more. It is very normal to see us all leveling lower level characters together, adventuring out in Tyria, farming world bosses, or working towards legendaries. FIRE is growing strong. Regularly engaging Tequatl on a near nightly basis, and almost daily in WvW! Building up our Wvw AND PvE Base! Memer of Sanctum of Rall NOT required, but preferred. Will work as a guild to help farm gold for new members for transfer if you decide to move to SoR for WvW after joining up! We take care of our own! Not many Christian guilds out there that focus on each other, maintaining a family-friendly environment, and still as heavily invested into the server community as FIRE is!

FIRE ran an overnight team to cause havoc in our enemy’s BL. How did we do it? As naked bobblehead’s! We had a blast take towers, camps, and even a couple good, solid keep attempts! FIRE wants to have fun and enjoy WvW! Also, congrats to Sampster for his Ascended weapon drop from Tequatl. We run a successful Tequatl run with the EG guild 4-5 nights a week!

67 members now, and fielding 15-20 members per WvW raid right now! Having a blast, and definitely making an imprint in the server! I like how this guild sounds. I’ve been trying to get into contact with a member for about a day or two. I just came back to GW2 and been looking for a relatively small guild with mature players and values. Who should I talk to about joining?

With whom would I need to get in contact in order to join? I’m a very casual gamer (only able to log in for a few hours a week and for longer periods on every other weekend) and after playing essentially guildless since beta, the game’s starting to grow stale.

Good raid last night. Had an awesome time going face to face with DUI from GoM and MEAN from DH all night! FIRE did an awesome job!

Bumping up this old thread to gain exposure. Since last posted, we have moved from the SoR server to the Northern Shiverpeaks server. We actually moved last October/November. FIRE has grown immensely in recent months, and we now have over 100 members, with over 60 on the Northern Shiverpeaks Server. This past Saturday, we raided in WvW with 27 members, which was our largest turnout yet! Today we have our weekly sPvP Fellowship Night, Wednesday is WvW Training Raid, and Thursday is PvE Fellowship Night. Then, back to the grind in WvW for Friday and Saturday!

FIRE is always looking for new blood. We thrive on building a community-minded fellowship that is Christ-Centered, meaning that we base our standards and our conduct on our Christian faith and the Word of God. We aim to keep a family-friendly gaming environment, while still engaging with others within our server community. And, we have a strong WvW footprint, which keeps us active in our server community, working together with the other guilds on the battlefield.

Thanks for the words, Tar. NSP has been a very awesome breath of fresh air. Even through the painful matchups we have faced from uneven T2/3, to bandwagon servers locked in tier with us as they bleed our GLICKO, NSP has shown an awesome level of resilience. We love it here!

Had some good raids this week. Enjoyed working with other guilds on the server to maximize PPT and build the community. Shoutouts to ZoS, MEGA, and RISE as of late!
