Chariot of Fire [FIRE] – NOW RECRUITING NEW PVE AND WVW MEMBERS!!!

Chariot of Fire [FIRE] is a Christ-centered, family-friendly PvX fellowship that is located on the Northern Shiverpeaks server in Guild Wars 2. Having originally formed in 2007 in the first Guild Wars game, the [FIRE] guild has shown itself to be a resilient fellowship of players that share a common goal: to enjoy the games we play in a God-honoring, family-friendly gaming environment.

CHRIST-CENTERED: Christ-centered gameplay is our purpose. We intend to honor God in all that we do, whether it be in word or in deed. It is our belief that our faith is primary and our gaming is secondary. We aim to instill our faith as we play by being an example to all of Jesus Christ as we collaborate with others in the game we play.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY: Family-friendly is our mission. We want every person to play in a comfortable environment where they are free of excessive cursing, sexual conversation, trolling, and blatent disrespect. As such, we want our members to also steer clear from the temptations to engage in such activity. The enviroment we maintain affects how we interact with others in the games we play. As well, by maintaining a family-friendly environment, our gaming fellowship is safe for gamers of all ages. We welcome families, siblings, couples, and more! We currently have several families in our midst!

FELLOWSHIP-ORIENTED: Fellowship is our desire. Our focus is to build up each other. We want members that that want to be part of a community that lives past the login screen of the games we play. We have members that have spanned distance and space to actually meet and share time with one another, because we recognize that the person is more important than the game. We regularly pray for one another, and carry a deep concern for the well-being of each member. Fellowship is the name of our game. Whether we are battling a dragon in the depths of Tyria, just chilling on Teamspeak shooting the breeze, or collaborating on our website and engaging in collective conversation, the fellowship we build is what unites us together.

COMMUNITY-MINDED: In Guild Wars 2, you can often find [FIRE] members engaging in group activities in both the PvE world and in World Versus World. We have regular scheduled dungeon and fractal events, which we collaborate with other guilds on to build up multiple fractal-level teams. Additionally, FIRE has a strong presence in WvW, with members constantly supporting the community Commanders on the battlefield, in addition to our regularly scheduled raids. FIRE also hosts several community training raids, where we focus on teaching new players the builds, tactics, and strategy needed to be successful, as well as coaching new commanders as they learn to lead. We utilize the community NSP Teamspeak, shared by many guilds on NSP, and we are constantly engaged with many other guilds on NSP.

We will accept new members from ANY server, but those that wish to participate in our growing WvW sector will need to be on NSP or be willing to transfer to NSP from their current server.

Definitely a good group of people! My guild has followed these guys in WvW, and have had a lot of fun. They have skilled commanders and patient players, which makes it exciting to work with them. They are always willing to help out their friends and server mates, teaching them and learning from them. I strongly recommend checking out [FIRE] for both PvE and WvW Guild Interests!

Fought many of these folks in game, deceptively skilled players. Some of the best on SoR actually. Highly recommended if their goals are in line with yours.

We have a solid roster for this upcoming tournament! Still looking to fill a couple needs in the guild, but more importantly, we want people that want to be part of a family-friendly, God-honoring, community-minded fellowship! And, we will train!

Had a GREAT EBG run tonight with a brand new commander in FIRE during our FIRE/MEGA Guild New Commander Training event. That is right! We teach and train new commanders who want to step up to the plate! Whether they are in our guild or in another, we want to see our server commanders grow! Want to learn? Let us help you, too!

FIRE is pushing on strong in WvW this tournament. 5 days of raiding, 4+ hours each day. We have started developing a server scout team, with dedicated personnel assigned BL and EBG scout duties in order to maintain the battlefield awareness for the commanders on the field. Thus far, I feel that our role has helped the server in a big way, but I look forward to seeing us make an even larger positive influence into this community! I currently am committed to my server for WvW but I sure like the community you offer. Is it still possible to join another server’s guild? (please excuse the stupid question)

You sure can, but you cannot participate in WvW on the server. Right now, our guild is 110% committed to WvW for this tournament, so there is very little PvE going on, at least in an organized fashion. After the tournament, we will balance out a lot more.

Pulled solid EBG defense and offense last night. Nice ninja SMC swipe. FIRE performed well with light numbers. Proud of our team!

FIRE is hosting New Commander Training tonight! For the past few months, we have been engaged in coming alongside those that wish to learn the ropes of leading in the battlefield and coaching them to success. If you are on SoR and wish to support… And maybe learn, then you are invited to join us!!!

FIRE ran EBG last night with a new strategy. 3 teams, 3 commanders, with a scout commander calling the shots from the keep. Wd successfully WP’d EBG Keep and SMC and T3’d our entire corner while also working with VEX and MEGA guilds to cap red and blue keeps, consistantly ticking over 450 last night. Numbers were not in our favor, as EG did not run in EB last night as typically done, but with some strong coordination and scouting, we had an EXCELLENT run! Great having VEX and MEGA guilds working with us in holding down EBG last night for reset! Teamwork goes a long way!

Another solid start to the week, and once again, FIRE had a great time working with VEX! Great to see guilds work together for a common goal!

Always a pleasure to work with these guys! They are so fun to work with and definitely encourage everyone in their group to do their best! Working with them is really inspiring and i recommend players who fight in WvW and enjoys PvE too, to definitely look these guys up. Such a great community!

[FIRE] is such a great community! They bring the pain in WvW and area blast to run with. All around great players, in all aspects of the game. They truly represent what a PvX Guild should be.
