I bought the game last year. Got extremely busy with work and never had time to play. Now I work a lot less hours and would really like to dive into this game full time.

I found last time it kind of killed it for me not know anyone in the game and playing a lot by myself. I really enjoy this type of game when I’m playing with other people.

We respect each other and have a great community. We do WvW, PVE, dungeons, and guild missions. My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smaller (our member count will never exceed 75 total), casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP and we do have our own arena. We also have a variety of member-hosted events that change every week.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time.

We are focused on providing a place where people can feel comfortable and as though they are more than just a name on the roster. We want everyone to feel like family. We’re willing to help out with any and all questions as best as we can. Knowledge of and/ or participation in RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

Don’t worry about trying to transfer right away or even at all if you’re not on Tarnished Coast (unless you’re on an EU server, then it gets complicated). Feel free to guest with us as long as you want. You’ll still be able to join with us for dungeons and even Fractals (which I will be more than happy to teach). if you decide you want to transfer, we’ll help you get the funds you need to do so.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

We started as a small group of cross country friends back in the GW1 days. Several of us have known each other for years, but we are always looking to add to our numbers.

We do a little bit of everything. We have been known to do:

-Dungeon Runs
-World Meta Events
-Champ Farms
-Running groups or commanding in WvW
-Fractal Runs
-Teaching what we have learned and sharing our discoveries of builds (We tweak and work on our own.)
-Coordinate with other guilds for whatever we do.

-Teamspeak is highly encouraged. This is a major advantage on whatever we do.

What we don’t do:
-Drama.
-Loan of money. (Sorry, but with leachers out there, it is best to have this standing rule)
-Expect you to play with our builds.

We do expect representation.

We are small, but we put up a fight in whatever we do.
