Guild Wars 2

I’ve tried another game before, it’s Pay 2 Play and I don’t know if I’m allowed to discuss it here.. but, I’ve been deleting characters, switching realms, trying to find a nice guild to be in. But I’m not really having any luck at all.
I just wanted to find and make some gaming friends and just have a blast at playing a game. It’s kind of hard finding what I want.
But with Guild Wars 2, I believe that I’ll both have a blast at playing GW2 content ontop of finding a great guild/community/family to be in.
Now, all I’m looking for are really friendly people, mature, drama-free, preferred 18+ of ages, very socially active, and active inside the guild as well. I’d also love it if people could handle my newbie self for a little while just until I get through the game and know a lot of things… which, I know little about this game right now. Though I’ve been doing research and things.. (Which is why I’m interested in playing).

I haven’t made a character or anything yet. I’ll just wait to see if anyone replies to my thread here and tells me about the guild, guild name, and which world they play in.

And yeah, I’m just really trying to look forward to having a blast in an MMORPG that I could stick to for awhile with friends, running dungeons/instances together, and exploring content together, and things. It’s all about being in a great guild and making friends to do things with together for me

Hello and welcome to the world of Guild Wars 2!

I would like to introduce Askew Krewe to you. We are a small guild on Tarnished Coast and Crystal Desert with some 25 members. We have American and European players so whatever timezone you’re in, you should find someone online. Our “daily active” core is rather small but we have friends in other guilds and other servers to do stuff with as well.

Because of our guild’s size we are like family to each other. If you need help with something (story quest, a jumping puzzle, a dungeon,…), just ask in guild chat and someone will probably jump to your aid. We have people with 100% map completion, Dungeon Master titles, Fractals of the Mists level 28 unlocked etc. As you can see, we focus mainly on PvE and dungeons, but we have some experience in PvP and WvW as well if you’re interested in those. When we’re doing dungeons or Fractals we use Raidcall to communicate (and we don’t mind other guild mates listening to our dying screams and trust me, there are lots of those screams!).

We have people who have been playing MMORPGs and other games for years and others who had never played one before GW2. And we have all been GW2 newbies at some point, so don’t be afraid to ask us for help.

Are we mature? I guess that depends on the situation. We are all students and/or have jobs. We know and understand that you have to afk sometimes because your child woke up. Or that you can’t play for a few days because you’re busy with your job or exams. We treat everyone with respect. But we also engage in shenanigans and general silliness.

You don’t mention your time zone, but if you are in the EU, you may be interested in SEA - Sea of Sorrows Desperadoes on Piken Square. It is the unofficial RP server, but all playstyles choose to be there for it’s friendly community.

We are a mixed guild, accepting all playstyles and whilst many of us are RPers, it’s not a requirement to be part of us. We have been around as a community for over 8 years and have members who have been with us since the start.

We are friendly, helpful and are currently looking to build on our PvE skills, we don’t RP whilst questing etc and we make no demands on gear or builds. We are happy to help and advise. We will even take low levels into fractals, as our aim is to play together and have fun.

We have an 18+ age limit and accept that RL with it’s career, family and social demands that gaming is often a lower priority. We do expect a certain level of activity, though: an average of 4 evenings online as a rough guide.

• sPvP – Currently putting together a tPvP team, will soon have a custom arena.
• Leveling – We often team up with and help our lower levels.
• Dungeons – Some dungeon running. Activity will increase as we recruit new members and our low levels reach 80.
• Fractals – Same as above. Our most active runners are at level 3-5.
• World Bosses – We often report active bosses and kill most of them on a nightly basis.
• Representing – We do not require 100% representation, but atleast 75+-%.

Welcome to GW2. My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smaller, casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP and we do have our own arena. Knowledge of and/ or participation in RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time.

We are currently working on building up a solid core of pve players, but there are still a few around who would be more than happy to help teach you if you want to learn and have a little patience. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.

Don’t worry about trying to transfer right away or even at all. Feel free to guest with us as long as you want. You’ll still be able to join with us for dungeons and even Fractals (which I will be more than happy to teach). if you decide you want to transfer, we’ll help you get the funds you need to do so.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too.

We also have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

Equinox Solstice [TIME] is an semi-hardcore PvX guild formed on 18-February-2013, based in Crystal Desert that aims to foster interest in all aspect of the game (sPvP, WvWvW and PvE), seeking for players that are fun-loving, outgoing and self-motivated.

Within a short 3.5 months, [TIME] has become a fully upgraded guild which can be considered an significant progress.

In additional, the guild started out as an east and southeast asia regional guild but now has grown into an international guild filled with people from all around the world. We have an significant 24 hours coverage with the lowest number of members online at 25.

From the UTC +6 to +9 (Asia and partial Oceanic) timezone, we have players from Singapore , Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippine, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

[UM] on FA is a tight knit and very social PvX guild that is medium sized and a majority of our members use TS3. We typically have ~15 on throughout prime time. We allow guesting which allows you to join us for free to try out the guild and our home. We are a dedicated guild with 100% rep however, we allow personal guild banks. Limbó is a European PvE focused guild with casually done WvW and sPvP.It is a Cross server guild interested mostly into the PvE aspect of the game.
We farm on daily basis Arah all paths,FotM 48 for skins.We are doing CoF & CoE speed running.We farm other dungeons too when a members needs something specific.
We also farm and report World bosses and DE on daily basis.

Currently we have 280 members and expanding.Our players are social and helpful.The guild chat is active.

Guild missions are being done twice a week so everyone can finish them.Everyone who isn’t on Underworld is guesting there.
If you want to join us specifically for WvW & sPvP then server Underworld is the place,because 60% of our members are there.If you want to join us only for pure PvE than server doesn’t matter.
