I am brand spanking new to GW and looking for a good guild. Thought I would be able to do this on my own but what’s the fun in that and also have absolutely no idea what I am doing so any and all help would be wonderful and appreciated. As stated before have no idea what is going on so if you need to know anything information let me know.

Welcome to GW2! Yeah, the game is definitely more fun with other people. My guild, Ember Solace, is specifically dedicated to helping out new players. We love answering questions, stepping up to help with a personal story quest, hosting leveling parties by exploring different maps, and tossing out ideas for gear/builds/etc. Many of our members are in your same situation: new to the game and not entirely sure what’s going on. xD It’s kind of cool, because people get to explore and discover things together. Oh, and one of our officers, Falunel, made a great guide for new players with lots of information and tips.

I’m not sure which server you’re on, but Ember Solace is on Tarnished Coast. If you’re not on TC, that’s totally okay; many of our members are on other servers and use the “guest” feature to come to TC to meet up. Anyway, if you’d like to know more about us, you can check out our recruitment post (it’s got our Purpose statement) and stop by our forums (we have a short application in order to join the guild; it’s how we weed out trolls and rude people).

Welcome to the world of Tyria!

Serenity’s Edge [TRE] is a GMT +8 Sanctum of Rall guild that focuses on PvE with a little bit of wvw!

We are a fun and loving community that enjoys playing games together! Most of our player based are mostly from the SEA region, from Singapore and Malaysia, although we also have guildees from US and Europe. Not only do we have a sizable community in Guild Wars 2, we also have people playing other games such as Final Fantasy, Company of Heroes 2 and the upcoming Battlefield 4, etc! We are very happy to help out in dungeons, fractals or any living story content and to help each other get all those yummy achievements.

We also have a Facebook page and Teamspeak 3 server where we keep in contact with each other on gaming related stuff!

The Free Armed Ronin of Tyria has been formed by Sto & Res; both of us long time gamers. We are from the US & UK respectively and met in another GW2 guild on Ferguson’s Crossing. After being there for some time we decided it was the right time to move on and set up a guild of our own that will (hopefully) appeal to many players out there who cannot find a guild that gives them all they want.

What type of guild are we?

A newly formed casual, mature guild.

What can you expect from us?

We know that real life comes first and with that in mind we are a casual guild, and will not expect any member to log in to a set schedule. Although if you join us we will expect you to represent us. Why? Because above all we want to develop a great spirit and community atmosphere. We believe this can only be accomplished if members take part. After all, you would not join a football team and then not take part in games with them!

We will look to accommodate all types of player – PvE, PvP, WvW, Dungeon & Fractal. How? We will be looking for leaders that enjoy these aspects of the game and will look to develop these members to lead in their area of skill & expertise. So if you enjoy PvP but PvE bores you we will have events for you, and the same with other areas of the game.

What do we expect from you?

Simple – to take part, be friendly to other members, represent us, and above all have fun and don’t take things seriously. After all, our tag is FART…

I have a small but growing guild on Darkhaven. Warriors of United Darkness in a casual PvX guild, we’ve started doing Bounty Training and Dungeon Runs with more events coming as soon as possible. We focus on helping players with tactics and just learning different mechanics of GW2. PM if interested, and we do allow guests if you’d like to see how you like the group. Hey there, it might be easier to find a guild that is right for you if you let us know what server and type of guild you are looking for (casual, PvE, PvX, etc).

For instance my guild is located on Blackgate and we are a PvX guild with a focus on World vs. World. Oh, we have a great love for Quaggans… hence the guild’s name Coo Story Bro [Coo]. Come check us out and hang out with the Coo kids!

A bit about S T Y L E:
• Server: Jade Quarry – We are active only on JQ, but allow guesting. For a free transfer to JQ, you simply need to delete any characters you have created – so if you’re just starting out, head to Jade Quarry!
• Team: Our leadership team works hard to ensure that everyone in S T Y L E is enjoying what they want to enjoy in the game. We feel our job as leaders is to help facilitate your good time, and to lead by example.
• You: Can be anyone – new, experienced, young, old, and in-between. The (known) ages of our members range from college students to retirees. We don’t concentrate on age, only maturity. Conduct in guild chat is strictly monitored and enforced – no name calling, discrimination, or drama.
• Life + Laughter: We refuse to be ultra-serious, and we always keep in mind that Real Life comes first. As such, the guild has no requirements for representing (although not repping does affect your rank), TeamSpeak/Website use, participation in events, or other restrictions.
• Experience/Skill Level: S T Y L E does have a special place in its black, black heart for players that are new to GW2 or to MMOs in general. We do not believe in ‘noobs’, only players that haven’t had the same experiences as some who’ve been around longer. We are very happy to guide, party with, provide info to, and nurture new players. Or for that matter, experienced players who need guidance with a new/different aspect of this multi-faceted game.

• Who: We have 110+ members. Most active around 3PM+- EST, but members can be found online at almost all times. We are very active in guild chat and in our TeamSpeak server.
• Activities: Structured guild activities are always evolving, and we currently host Tues/Thurs Dungeon nights; Wednesday Jumping Puzzle or Mini-Dungeon events; Guild Lottery, and Guild Missions on Sunday nights. Ad-hoc parties constantly form of S T Y L E members helping each other to complete personal stories, map completion, or other events.
