Guild Wars 2

New to Guild Wars 2, just got it a week ago.

I am on Devona’s Rest server

I am a 20 year old male. I have played many other mmo’s, mostly with friends.

WoW, SWTOR, DDO, EQ 1 and 2, Aion, Warhammer AoR, Conan. The list goes on.

I have enjoyed PvP in many other games but have yet to play much in GW2 but I am so far loving the PvE of the game. Especially the jumping puzzles.

The idea of WvW is awesome but it seems a little daunting at first although i’m sure a few youtube videos will clear that up. Also with some actual experience playing it with people.

So far I have a level 10 Ranger but plan to start other toons soon to see how they play.

My play times are usually most weekends and weekdays in the late afternoon/evening.

• Mature – We screen our applicants. Our ages range from 18 – 60. We are not religious & you may hear some cursing.
• Active – Recruiting all time zones. We have 50+ members. Most active around 10PM+- EST.
• Website – Our site is hosted by Enjin, paid for a year. Active forums.
• Helpful – Useful and easy to navigate information on our site. Enjoy answering questions.
• Voice Comms – We use Mumble & Enjin chat via Overwolf overlay to communicate across multiple games.
• Live Streamers – We support Twitch. Our streamers often do giveaways.
• Newbie Friendly – We are very helpful and welcome new players.

In-Game Activity

• WvW – Weekly WvW night.
• sPvP – Currently putting together a tPvP team, will soon have a custom arena. Regular meetings twice a week.
• Leveling – We often team up with and help our lower levels.
• Dungeons – Eager to run Dungeons.
• Fractals – Same as above. Our most active runners are at level 3-5.
• World Bosses – We often report active bosses and kill most of them on a nightly basis.
• Missions – Actively unlocking missions.
• Representing – We do not require 100% representation, but atleast 75+-%.

If you have some time on your hands, have a look at vVv Gaming. vVv Website. You say that you are new to the game and have experience with previous MMO’s, so in regards to that I’d like to share a few things that might peek your interest.

vVv in Guild Wars 2 is a medium size PvX (Player vs All) Guild that has been around since release. We use mumble to communicate and we do all sorts of events throughout the week. We welcome new players such as yourself and help them in whichever way we can so that you may learn the game and have fun playing it with us. We are a casual guild for most part and we don’t have a huge list of rules that we enforce on people. Unfortunately we don’t play on your server, we play on Fort Aspenwood.

Switching servers costs gems (cash shop money), due to this you might be reluctant to join us, however since you said you are new then you probably still have a very low level character with nothing to lose. If you would like to join us you can switch servers for free if you delete all your characters. Any items you obtained can be put in the bank and saved that way; so once you recreate your character, you can take them back on new character.
