Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone, I downloaded the game when it first was released. However I haven’t got around to playing so much, and I feel like that’s because I don’t have a guild to enjoy the game with! I’m in the world Sanctum of Rall, I’m a level 35 Asura Guardian. I’m looking for any active guild that likes to have fun, explore, and will help with getting used to the game and find my place! A little bit about myself: I’m a freshman in college in Wisconsin, originally from Massachusetts. I’m 18 years old, male, and can used Skype or any other speak online to talk/communicate if needed be. I’m gay (if that matters) I like to have fun and talk to people!! Hiya, Ryanrobi! How are you liking college so far? Pretty good or are you counting the days until the semester is over? =P It sounds like you’d really like my guild, Ember Solace. We’re on Tarnished Coast, and I know you’re on SoR, but with the new megaserver patch, we can do everything together except WvW (and if you join and later decide you want to do some WvW, we can help you transfer).

We’re super friendly, and we have a Guidance Officer, Veronica, and her Guidance Assistant, Nil, who absolutely love helping new people settle into the game, from gear questions to beginner dungeons and more. Also, Ember Solace is specifically designed to be a safe space for LGBTQ people (and others who often face discrimination both in and out of game), so we have lots of gay people. Almost everyone on my Leadership Team (including me, the Guild Leader) is part of the LGBTQ community.

If you’re interested in us, you can check out our forums and register as a member. Once you’ve registered, you get read access to our GW2 section, so you can scope us out and see if you think we’d be a good fit for what you want in a guild. If we do, then you can put in an application on the forums (it’s under the “Applications” section at the bottom). We use the app process to keep the space safe from trolls and such.

Hey Ryanrobi. If you are looking for a helpful guild that is also LGBT friendly give us a shout! I am gay too so I know how rough that can be when finding a guild.

Synergy is a guild started by some friends with a goal to create a small community of friendly players. We aren’t interested in having 500 members where no one knows anyone else. We are currently playing Guild Wars 2 primarily on the Jade Quarry server.

For Guild Wars 2, we participate both PvE and organized PvP in both WvWvW and structured PvP. Most of us have been gaming together since the days before Guild Wars 1 and continue to do so. Because of our long standing community, you will find that it is an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and learns to play well as a well oiled machine, hence the name Synergy.
