Hi! So some history about me…

I’ve been playing MMORPGs for about 10 years, but I am what you would call a “hopper.” I haven’t dedicated much time to any particular game, since I never seem to find friends. IRL, I can just smile at a person and talk to them. Online, it’s never “clicked” to me as to what to do. So I guess I’m kind of online-socially awkward? Anyway, there’s a whole lot I’m enjoying about GW2. It’s really a special game, and I don’t want it to be on my “list.” So here I am, attempting to reach out and find some folks to play with and show me the ropes.

Personality-wise, I’m really goofy. My sense of humor is kind of strange. If you’re turned off by “weird” people, we might not get along too well. But I’m very nice and easy-going. I don’t like to create or to participate in drama. I accept everyone for who they are. I’d like to find a similar group of people— people who don’t take everything too seriously, who like to joke around from time to time. That’s not to say that I don’t take gaming seriously— I always TRY my best and desperately want to improve. But I’m not the type of person to cry and complain if I fail the first time, and I don’t mind shooting the kitten (these filters rule) now and then.

As far as my goals for the game, well, I’m still leveling. I’m currently level 60. I prefer to level at my own pace and alone, just to enjoy the experience, but I like preemptively finding a guild in which I can ask questions, or just participate in chat. The zone channels tend to be pretty quiet in this game, so some conversation would really liven my experience.

Once I reach max level, I’d like to focus on gearing up. I have yet to run any of the dungeons, so having a tolerant group of people to show me how it’s done would really help. I’m also very interested in the PvP in this game. I’ve been playing LoL since 2012, so that’s my only experience. But as a support main, I really enjoy using teamwork to crush the enemy.

I’m very satisfied with my class choice as an Elementalist. It’s a little hard, but I enjoy having such a large kitten nal (????) of tools available. I’ve tried all weapon variants to some degree, and I can’t really pick a favorite, but Staff seems easiest so I’ve been leveling on that.

This game is really different from your traditional MMO, so I’m a little confused about and overwhelmed by the endgame content. I’d prefer not to dive in all alone, so take me under your wing. I’m a cool dude.

My work schedule’s a little strange (I’m a server) but I usually have at least 2-3 hours to play every night. I’m on the east coast. It’s hard to say what my dedicated schedule is, but usually I’ll be on ~9 PM – 1 AM nightly, extending into ~6 AM if I don’t work the following morning, or time before 9 PM if I didn’t work that day. Saturday nights and Sunday are usually when I spend time with my SO. So, yeah, a little goofy, but any free time I get will typically be spent gaming. It’s my primary hobby, and GW2 is now my primary game.

Oh, and I’m on the FA server. Since I’m interested in WvW, that may be important. It’s pretty likely that I will be transferring to Blackgate to play with a friend (if he returns,) but we’re both flexible.

We are a PvX (heavily focused to PvE) casual, yet structured, guild who wants to try to take part in all aspects that GW2 has to offer. Although we are a guild with growing numbers, we take more accustomed to the phrase ‘quality over quantity’, and that’s what we intend to do.

Being a casual guild, I have my rule of never removing one for inactivity; play at your leisure. Although I cannot assure you that you may/may not see many on at your time (especially with some schoolers/workers in the guild), we will definitely be on to have a great time with you!

Being a structured guild, while we don’t necessarily have a rep requirement as you join, we do keep an eye on this based to on our rank system, basically showing your loyalty/commitment to our guild, while always having fun with the other guilds.

We do not make it required that you have to be on our home server (Fort Aspenwood) to join the guild at all, but if you plan to do WvW with us, then you will need to consider a transfer to FA then. The type of voice communication we use is TeamSpeak 3, and I will try to get everyone to use it at that prime-time you listed!

My name is Moonlit and it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance. First off, I loved your intro lol. You just sound all happy and excited that it was all I could do not to spam you with invites lol, loving the great attitude.

Now, on to a more “serious” note. I noticed you said you don’t like it when people take things to serious, well that could be a problem because we are very “serious” I must say. I daresay sometimes we’re so serious we even have costume brawl battles and roar loudly at each other while using quaggan tonics, can you handle that? >u> Lol but anyways allow me to tell you a little bit about my home guild, TFG [The Forest Guard]. We are a community based on the server Northern Shiverpeaks and we do our best to live up to the NSP credo and that is to have a great community and a lot of fun. We have people doing any kind of activity you could ask for from transforming into polar bear cubs for a dangerous guild mission (we do guild missions every Saturday), doing dungeons for fun, grabbing random people in the guild for pvp matches, and even themed WvW events such as last weeks Mesmer night! In addition a lot of our members (including myself lol) seem to be on around the same time as you so it’d be perfect whenever you feel like running around with us lol. Otherwise we’re pretty laid back overall and don’t require anything except for the fact that if your gonna roll with us, you gotta have fun lol.

I noticed you said you were thinking of transferring to Blackgate to be with your friend but that you were both flexible so if you’d consider it I’d love for you to give NSP a try lol. We’re quickly growing and have a great community based system of players who’ll be more than happy to show you the ropes and as part of TFG you can come with us for all our fun events while you learn lol!
