Northern Shiverpeaks has a very challenging season ahead of them. This year NSP has fluctuated as low as rank 21 and as high as rank 16. NSP has not been higher than rank 16 since last December!

Northern Shiverpeaks has a recognized skilled player base, several large guilds, many smaller guilds, and a ton of dedicated players that have stayed on NSP since the beginning.

Northern Shiverpeaks has had a great turnout on our new community site @ http://northernshiverpeaks.org that was launched barely three weeks ago – showing that this server is alive and has a community that really does care about working together. More and more individual players and entire guilds are using our public TS3 server and working together everyday.

Northern Shiverpeaks wants players & guilds that want a real challenge. More guilds willing to step up to command, train, and rule the battlefield. Players & guilds that have been on the fence about transferring.

The one thing that has been failed to be mentioned is the fact that NSP has never been a bandwagoner server. The same core of WvW players and guilds are still here and have been loyal and stuck with the server. One of the best PvE servers in GW2 we have seen a small influx of PvErs join into WvW. We have 1 large WvW guild (Os) and 2 moderate sized WvW guilds (TFG and Zos). Beyond that we have quite a few smaller guilds that are also active in WvW and do an outstanding job whether it be adding to a Zerg, roaming play, camp capping, or the 2-3 man golem rushes on your keeps. It’s a fantastic community that is proud and loyal. The core players aren’t going anywhere as most of us have been here since day one. Too many servers offer instability due to mass guild exoduses, but you can count on NSP to not have that problem. Sure we will welcome any guilds OR players that want to be apart of our community, but the best aspect is stability and the awesome community. Silver League will be extremely tough for us from a ppt perspective because we definitely lack the coverage or manpower, but we will show up and fight everyday. Any guild looking to transfer from the blobs in the higher tiers or the lack of consistent fights in the lower tiers, consider NSP for your new home.

Did some guest pve over at NSP and I was impressed at how they ran Orr temples regularly, including Balthazar. Friendly residents too. I’m sure the wvw crew will have a similar demeanor

Round 1 isn’t a total loss for NSP.

Now that everyone has their home server set, a lot of the big guilds in some of the higher tier servers don’t really even care about ‘winning’ the season. They are just looking for a bigger challenge, want to be part of something exciting to try, and find some great battles without 24/7 zergblobs.

It will be a blast having those guilds transfer over to help knock some of these kitteny higher ranked servers down and help NSP create the best season 1 upset for WvW!

I am hearing and reading about the Queue problems. Just so people know. NSP had no Que for enemy Borderlands. If your a guild that enjoys a good fight, instead of a queue fight, NSP has what you need.

Great kick off to our Season 1 Upset. Nice to start the season off and not come in last place..like JQ, SoS, DB, BP, IOJ, Kain, ET, and AR.

Even if it is only 2nd – it goes to show all you other servers how strong NSP is and how much fight we have.

All you guys complaining about queue time and skill lag – Come spend a week with us and keep this momentum going.

You won’t regret it and you’ll have so much more fun in WvW beating up nerds and watching them rage than you would just sitting around for hours waiting for your turn!

What is this “Queue” you speak of?

If your guild is looking for some good times in WvW, come on over to NSP.

Your guild will make a difference on our server, and you’ll find a friendly and dedicated community inside and outside of WvW. Minimal skill lag and queues to boot.

Lots of different personalities also inhabit the great NSP server. We have stong WvW oriented guilds and we have subtle ones. Guilds that require your time and effort on a weekly basis and ones that are as casual as your slippers. Scheduled events, Scheduled WvW, Scheduled Temples, friendly guilds, crazy guilds, all kinds of different people and things that go on in a Community fashion are here in NSP. We are diverse in thought and tactics, and while some may say that mixes like oil and water, the NSP community has adapted to our crazy mix of characters and made something a little different to behold. Sometimes we are seemingly to kitteny, while other times we say nothing and just come in and whoop azzzes. WvW battles seem out of control and then they all end up together stomping Borderlands for a whole day to take a 2nd place snatch it from behind victory. There’s a lot to be said for a Server that can go from “eh, who cares… to We won’t die !!!” in the same breath. Don’t ever count us down and out cause that’s when we rise to bring the pain to the enemy. We aren’t the best, and never claimed to be, but we have a lot of fun being the goofy family of people that we are here.

Phoenix Battalion[PB] and MANY other great guilds issue a challenge to any player/s — come and snoop around, come and take a good look and ask many other people what is what here. All the cool things that happen here in GW2 You will find a solid community of folks doing them, and doing them well. Come and see……

Can’t believe there are still so many players staying on servers with ridiculously long queue times, unplayable skill lag, or versus opponents that are non-existent. You should be here where the action is!

Yes, I have seen him. I would be willing to bet he does have his meta complete. . Many of us finished it during the first week to 2 weeks of match ups.

Actualy, NSP is the paradise for roamers/small groups. We are facing big servers with tons of people and it’s very easy to find fights.

And it could become a great place for bigger guilds who actualy look for real challenges. We have a great and dedicated community.

You would love to meet us, roam with us and build something better with us.

Make no mistake. NSP is not for everyone. If your guild is just looking for some easy wins you will not want to be on NSP.
The players still on NSP and the ones transferring here are the type of players that play games on “hard-mode”.

I wholeheartedly agree. Our meetings reflect the willingness to organize and co-operate, something we’ve been lacking for awhile. We’ve come a very long way in a matter of a month, i expect to see more in the very near future. NSP really values good fights and a comfortable, fun atmosphere. Kudos to everyone that’s pulled it together so quickly.

We need an Obs Song of the Day or a pony vid on here! Something to make up for the lack of Birdsong Gif’s….

I’m really impressed by NSP lately ! Current matchup is amazing, we’re doing very great.
We are far from being the NSP that started silver league 7 weeks ago.
