Northern Shiverpeaks is a friendly community of loyal and dedicated players. On the WvW front we boast a stable and resilient core of players and guilds that serve as a backbone for our growing competitive community. We value community on NSP and are looking for like minded people to keep us competitive across all time zones.

What Are We Looking For?

Most importantly, we are looking for guilds and players that want a home to stay, rather than a bandwagon to hop on to. Our intent is to have competitive and fun WvW matchups while still fostering a strong, positive server community. Guilds that thrive on community and enjoy open raids will find themselves comfortable on NSP.

At this time, we feel that our sweet spot for activity, fights, and community building is in T4. However, many of us would ultimately prefer a rotation between T3 and T4 for matchup variety and a bit of a challenge.

The following list gives an assessment of what we’re looking for in each time zone:

• NA: Our NA is competitive in T4, but still has room to grow. We could benefit from a few more raiding/havoc guilds.
• OCX: Our OCX can be hit or miss. We have a few small guild groups, which tends to be less than our opponents. However, commanders receive a substantial boost from NA night owls, especially in early OCX. Addition of any OCX guilds would be helpful.
• SEA: Many of our opponents in T3-T4 have substantial SEA population, including dedicated guilds. Commanders in this time zone receive a substantial boost from NA-based militia. We would particularly benefit from guilds running open raids.
• EU: We often do well in EU, but this is largely from the strength of NA-based militia. In this timezone, we would particularly benefit from guilds running open raids or from pugmanders.

Best decision our guild have made was to transfer to NSP last October. Even through the painful imbalanced T2/3 matchups for 4 months, there was not a moment that we regretted coming over. There is not a more stable, community-oriented server out there!

Is the only way to move servers buying a transfer or deleting all your characters? SoR currently, and I haven’t been able to find a guild at all.

I want to move to NSP but 1800 gems is too much.

Unfortunately yes that’s the only way at this time. If you really want to make the move then farm silverwastes. It’s painfully boring but the return on mindless event chains and chest farming is pretty decent. I made over 130 gold farming it this weekend.

I am sure there are some of us on NSP that would get together and farm with you, too!

Yeah, I’d echo what Xivor said: try to find an NSP guild (there’s a bunch that recruit here or take a look at northernshiverpeaks.org) and you may be able to get some help transferring.

It’s a great time to be coming to NSP, there’s some exciting things happening here. :-D

NSP is an amazing group of people. Some of the best fighters I’ve seen in silver tier. We’ve been through thick and thin together, and still going strong. Come join us!

Been here since the first month. I can’t think of any other place I would rather be some really good people and lots of community involvement. When you know what you are capable of you have something, NSP has that all over the place and it’s stood the test of time. You won’t be disappointed coming here

I’m not sure NSP is ready for T3, at least not full time, but getting a chance to try it out every so often might be fun. We just need a bit more coverage in SEA time.

Really loving the dynamic that NSP has on the battlefield. I have not seen such a wide selection of guilds willing to work together on the battlefield as I have experienced here. No egos, just teamwork. Now, we just need to bolster our OCX and our SEA time zones…and our late NA!

NSP is just such an awesome and welcoming community! I don’t think I’ll ever want to leave it! And even when we get outnumbered we can still put up an awesome fight. Props to the commanders and keep kicking butt everyone!

Time to bump this post once again. Still looking for more guilds and players to join the war!

NSP wants to remain competitive with a balance of T3 and T4 matchups. In order to do so, we need to bolster off-hours coverage. Specifically, late-OCX/Early-SEA and an EU raiding guild would be a welcomed addition. However, there is room to grow in all time zones. Late-NA could also use some bolstering…one pacific-based raiding guild could make a world of difference. Inquire within to see if your guild is a good fit within our community!

As someone who transferred to NSP not too long ago, I can honestly say it is the best choice I have made in-game since GW2 was released. A fantastic community server with a lot of variety in guilds and events, and we’d love to add your guild to our community too!

Im sold.. I’m a returning player looking to join a WvW guild.. now i want to join a WvW guild in NSP. I am willing to transfer. Any guilds active past EST midnight?

Alternatively, looking for people too distracted to see the fight come up on top of them and too stubborn to run away.

Just want to mention that NSP needs open field fight guilds. Guilds that can keep the enemies fight guilds occupied while our ppt guilds do their thing. Big fight guilds, little fight guilds, whatever. Not a bunch just a few.

We also need off hours coverage. During NA prime we’re doing pretty well but SEA and OCX need more bodies.

Part of my criteria is that my guild can actually make it into the zones and not be broken up all night. Can anyone hit me up in game and let me know? Mail would be the best. I don’t read forums all the time and wont check this for another week most likely.

NSP will Que EB, our BL and occasionally a third map on reset nights only. If 3 maps are queued then it means the 4th has virtually no one on it. Outside of of that occasionally during NA Prime only 1 of the 4 maps will have a queue on it, and that is actually pretty rare.
