Banned for Exploits, who we are:

• Banned For Exploits [OP] is a new guild based on NA with members who have been running dungeons together for quite some time in other guilds. We consider ourselves a semi-hardcore PvE guild with a focus on running dungeons effectively and efficiently.

Who/what we are looking for:

• NA players with an interest in running dungeons using the latest strategies & tactics used by elite PvE guilds in record runs (gwscr.com).
• Both experienced players, as well as players with a willingness to learn and improve.
• Good attitude and no elitism – We strongly emphasize dungeon runs that are fun and relaxed. However, we all all human, and we all can make mistakes… it’s not cool to hound someone when a mistake is made. After all, this is a game we are all playing to have fun.

Requirements for new members:

• The meta build for your class must be used.
• Berserker’s/Assassin’s weapons, armor, and jewelry that are at least exotic quality, DPS Sigils (Force/Night and Force/Slaying/Frailty/Accuracy for daytime), DPS Runes (Scholar/Strength/Ranger).
• DPS food must be used. For our daily runs, we generally use Steak and Asparagus, Minotaur Steaks, Candied Dragon Rolls, or Griffon Egg Omelets, but you are welcome to use better food.
• 10% slaying potions is required for all dungeons, except for AC. Sharpening stones or skale venom is acceptable for AC. You can get these for 1 dungeon token from each dungeon vendor.
• Experience in most dungeons is expected, but we are also willing to teach anyone how to do all dungeon paths as long as you are eager to learn and run the meta build for your class
• You must have the ability to listen, and take advice from others. The meta is constantly changing, and stubbornness is not a quality we want in our members.
• 75% Representation – we are not a side guild, but understand some people want personal guilds for additional bank space or rep a WvW guild
• Teamspeak 3 Client Software – you must get on at least to listen, but a microphone is not required

Application

• We allow you to run with our guild as an initiate for two weeks.
• To become a full member, we expect you to be able to lead a group of guild officers through a full dungeon tour. More details on the trial are provided below.

Trial
You will be evaluated based on general knowledge of dungeons and specific criteria based on your class for a full tour. Specifically for each class, we are looking for in order of importance:

• Warriors – Banner management to maximize uptime, DPS
• Elementalists – Might stacking, DPS, and situational utility.
• Guardian – Situational utility, aegis/blind management, DPS
• Thief – Stealth management, DPS, defiance management
• Mesmer – Situational utility, knowledge of portal skips, DPS
• Ranger – DPS, proper pet for situations
• If you don’t get accepted as a member at first, then you can try again when you feel you are ready.
• We trial our members to ensure that our runs are effective and efficient.

Dungeon Lineup
We start our dungeon tours shortly after reset, and run 10-15 paths per day. Dungeons in our daily lineup include 10-15 of the following:

• AC P1/P2/P3
• SE P1/P3
• TA Up / Fwd
• CoE P1/P2/P3
• CoF P1/P2/P3
• CM P1/P2/P3
• HotW P1
• Arah P1/P2/P3/P4
• Fractals, all tiers.

• Teamspeak server (Teamspeak is required for our guild. We understand if you’re a bit shy and do not require a microphone, however.)

How many members are in your guild?

It’s a nice guild filled whit people willing to teach if your willing to learn. I’ve learned a lot since i joined started as a noobish zerker war. That really only knew the pug Zerk paths cof ac se things like that. Since joining the guild I learned the paths they run and went on to learn the dungeon tours from thief guard and ele perspective.

I have to give props to OP. This is my first speed clearing dungeon guild that I have ever been in and when I joined about 3 months ago. I was immediately welcomed by getting me into tours. They are very patient and are really good at teaching the dungeon strategies that they use so new members can be on the same page. Since being in the guild, I have never seen anyone of OP members show an ounce of elitism even though they are very good at dungeons. I will have to say that we have lots of laughs while touring also (especially when I get to res Ragin, which isn’t very often . Doing dungeons with members of OP has been a blast in the little time that I have been a member! If you like running dungeons but are concerned about joining a ‘speed clear dungeon group’ because you don’t feel you are elite enuf, give OP a try. If you are good at dungeons then you should also join!!

Cmon you know you want to come and run some dungeons with us :P

We ran a dungeon tour with a new guildie last night and at end of tour, he thanked grp for runs and also replied ‘and a real ty for all you patience’! We do try to have fun and dont rant if someone in party makes a mistake. If you like running dungeons then OP is guild to join!!! Lot of good ppl and dungeon runners who like to have fun. The dungeon runs were AC, CM, COF, SE and arah. Since it was a work night we broke up early.

oh dear lord, this is exactly what I have been looking for. I just want to be able to pop in on days that I want to just do dungeons and still be able to rep my other guild when doing WvW

Very good dungeon running guild.

Advanced tactics are used, but there isn’t the extreme elitist atmosphere here. If you are brand new to dungeons and the class, you may not be able to get in and you should practice with a few pug runs before you apply. However, if you are experienced with your class and are looking for a guild to do fast dungeons with the latest tactics, this is a great place to be.

[OP] runs just about every dungeon each night for a tour except for HotW. Their usual order is AC, CM, SE, COF, Arah, TA, CoE, which usually takes about 2.5 hours for the full tour. The leaders are very active and put a priority in getting new members up to speed on their tactics.

Bio: I am a returning player. Been back for about two weeks now. Had a lv 80 warrior then retired my hammer after two months of playtime. Returned and raised a lv 80 Mesmer which will now be my main.

Currently working in Psych field as a Patient Care Worker at a Psychiatric Hospital; so naturally doing shift work means I log when I can as often as possible. In the works of creating a business with my wife and business partner.

Additional information: Looking for a guild which is heavily focused on dungeon runs and fractals of the mist. Must have a relaxed rep policy, as I am a proud member of Radiant Knights. I work hard and play hard and wish to use my time more efficiently by having the ability to quickly find a party to bang out some dungeons while i’m logged in.

The guild is more than willing to teach our dungeon tours but Its expected players joining know there own class and its meta build traits unlocked. They should carry pots and food for the dungeon tours. Just generally be prepared for the runs.

In-Game Experience: I’ve been playing for about a year on/off (only about 3-4 months collectively) and I really enjoy dungeons and fractals. I was really into the D3 speedrun community and like the idea of it in GW2 but have yet to find a good spot to start. I know the basics of most of your dungeon paths (Still really uncomfortable with COE) but do not know many specifics (e.g. when I should stealth party, when to drop lightning fields, stuff like stealthing Detha in ACP2).

Personality: I like to appear outgoing and confident, but I’m honestly pretty shy and unsure of myself most of the time. I can be a little stubborn without realizing it, but it’s something I’m actively working on changing. I like to learn and enjoy mature, intelligent discussions on any subject. I always try to view situations from other perspectives as I feel it’s the best way to prevent stupid conflicts.
