Guild Wars 2

Afternoon all. I am an active older gamer looking for a mature gaming community.
I’m looking for others that can appreciate being married , having a career and kids.
I lean towards groups of players with a sense of humor and an appreciation for each other’s time.

I enjoy all aspects of the game PvE, PvP, WvWvW. I like helping guildies get their stuff.

My last guild had great people but were more interested in Minecraft than Guildwars and there is no worse feeling than seeing a dozen people in teamspeak but having to PUG a dungeon.

I want to play guildwars; I would like the group’s focus to be guildwars. Not every night.. but please have an active enough playerbase that people can find others to run stuff.

I am not looking for a zerg guild; I would like to get to know my guildies.

I’ve gotten my dungeon master and am familiar with most paths. I also love coordinated tactics in WvWvW. I just finished my 5th level 80 addng a thief to my stable of Gaurdian, Mesmer, Elementalist and Ranger. So I am familiar with alot of class play.

I play most evenings from 1900-0000 CST (7pm-midnight) and often throughout weekends.

I always represent and never join more than one guild.

So if you need a commited but grumpy old guy… give me a yell.

I will consider guesting but am still debating whether or not I want to move.

Senility aims to be a multi-gaming casual guild for the adult gamer. We all lead busy lives with our work and family commitments – that at the end of the day we want a stable and competitive guild, without the fear of being dismissed or berated for prioritising our real life responsibilities over those of MMo’s and gaming in general.

Senility is not a hard-core guild. We are tailored to the working adult and/or parent who cannot afford to spend countless hours on an MMO when life’s priorities demand our attention. Senility offers an adult community that specialises in casual play for adults who want to enjoy MMO’s without the pressures and time demands that other guilds sometimes inadvertently place on their members.

You may enjoy our guild. We are a growing multi-gaming community. We strive to utilize our site for helping players & sharing information. We communicate via Mumble, we also like to use the Overwolf overlay and communicate across multiple games via Enjin chat. We try to keep our community full of mature players by screening applicants before being allowed in our mumble.

We are looking for new and experienced players. We enjoy helping new members get comfortable in Guild Wars 2 and are looking for experienced Officers who can help. We also support Twitch streamers and are always looking for more. Our current streamers do giveways.

A sPvP & tPvP team is in the works. I personally would like to find someone who can to lead such a team. We are also starting to ramp up our dungeon activity and guild missions. We already participate in WvW, but we’re looking at getting more players involved.

You sound like you would be an excellent addition to any guild of our fair server of Fort Aspenwood.
I represent No Dice, a friendly and cooperative PvX guild committed to having an awesome time in GW2. We are active in every area of the game you mentioned and always need more people to help out, including hardcore Small Squad WvW, premade tPvP and guild custom arena, high level Fractal groups, Dragon farming, Dungeon running, and even Keg Brawl (for achievement points)!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have had some interesting offers (many not listed here) however, some observations of why I have not joined.

Active membership means “active” Do you have at least one or two dungeon teams running. Do you do events as a group often or attempting to guild events? Do you have play balanced across all aspects of the game? Dungeons, WvW, PvP etc..

Too often i am getting invites from guilds where there are no more than 5 total 80s online at any one time and of those they are never doing similar things. While the inviduals may be “active” that is not an active guild. If I cannot get in touch with an officer after a couple of days of playing; or there is absolutely no in guild discussion taking place you are not really meeting the requirements.

Likewise; multigame guilds in which you have 100 members but only 4 are playing GW2.. is not an active GW2 guild.

Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Mumble or similar I have decided is a much higher priority. I am seeing cases where a 5 man of 80s are wipe on very simplistic content simply because they do not choose to communicate effectively. I’m not a power gamer but I have an appreciation for not only my time but moreso my guildmates.

Blind invites imply you desire simply quantity vice quality of membership. If you do not feel the need to talk with me albeit briefly to determine if our playstyles match I will probably reject the request outright. I would not really enjoy being part of a guild where I am guardian no. 327.

Thank you for your consideration those that have asked me to join. My reasons for not remaining are strictly my own and not reflective of the quality of your people but an extension of how I wish to spend my time playing.

Well you did only spend less than 24 hours in my guild. But I wish you the best. I sent you an in game mail explaining some of the things you pointed out in the ingame mail to me.

In Senility in members regardless of rank have the ability to organise events either in game or via our website event calendar.

And over the weekend we had dungeons, fractals and a guild mission going.
