Guild Wars 2

The Naughty Room [NoTY] is a brand new guild on Fort Aspenwood! This is a newly formed guild by 2 irl friends who were tired of new players and returning players getting kicked to the curb and lost in the shuffle. This also a place for those wanting to improve their skill and game play but without the elitism environment.

We are a PvX guild and will plan more activities as we grow. Veteran leadership. None of your leaders are new to MMO’s or GW2. Personal teamspeak for socializing and event coordination. Website coming soon. You do not need to be on our server to join unless you want to participate in WvW with us. Otherwise server does not matter.

To start us off on the right foot, we do have a couple of rules:
—100% rep to help the guild grow both in community and influence for upgrades. Personal guild banks are ok.
—Zero tolerance of any form of bs. We exist to be social, help each other & have fun. Not to deal with stupid stuff. Don’t bring it. Also we are LGBT friendly.
—Desire to learn, improve & grow.
—Activity – after 2 weeks of inactivity, you will be removed from guild with the option of returning once you have returned and are active.

I’ve played MMO’s for 8 years, and come from a very structured, progression-based raiding background; Dark has extensive experience in PvP/WvW type activities, and has played GW2 since Beta. We’re both avid theorycrafters, and are always looking for ways to improve/maximize our builds and setups. If you’re looking to learn, we’ve got the experience to help you.

I’ve run guilds for over 4 years now, and have always focused on keeping my members close-knit – I don’t stand for any kind of cliquishness, rude attitudes, or hateful comments. If you can’t conduct yourself with respect and class, you aren’t welcome, simply put. Dark and I have seen all sides of the social spectrum in MMO’s and beyond, and we’re well old enough to know what is and isn’t acceptable to us. In the end, we’re all here to play the game, and enjoy each other’s companionship – it doesn’t matter what or who you are IRL, as long as you act like a respectable adult.

I’ve been playing from the start, and almost 70% of the guilds I’ve been in have been bogged down with internal politics and infighting which ruined the experience for playing the game, and looking through your posts has given me some good ideas for my own guild

Hi, I’m CPL OMaley, i’m fairly new to guild wars two and MMO’s in general. To give you an idea of where I stand my highest level is like 26. I started playing Guild wars two about nine months ago but wast on for the past four months due to work and other responsibilities. Recently though my schedule has become more steady and I am able to logon more frequently. Back when I first started out, I ran into a group of guys who invited me to join their guild. After joining I quickly realized that their guild was very large, unorganized and hard to do anything with. I am looking for a smallish guild that is well-organized and accessible. I want to be apart of a guild where I can learn, make friends and most importantly feel like part of a team not just a random group of people. In short I want to feel like I belong. I also hope to be in a position where with learning and proving of myself I can be promoted within the guild. (Nothing to fancy I just don’t want to be one of those lower levels that no one thinks twice about) I hope to hear from you soon (: just PM me or send me a whisper in game when you can. I look forward to talking more about joining. Thanks.
PS: please keep in mind I’m still fairly new to Guild wars and am still unfamiliar with many aspects of the game, so if you’re looking for experienced players Im not a good match. The last time I played was over a year ago and the highest level I got to was 14 – quickly got bored without anyone to play with. I also joined a guild, but again, they were large, disorganised, mostly inactive, and most importantly everybody seemed to be doing their own thing. I particularly like the “new and returning people are welcome” culture you guys seem to have and would definitely like to join. However, I’m currently right on the brink of exams and the soonest I will be able to play is the 28th, and most likely the 1st as it’s a big download and I have a small download cap. Can chat via voice, don’t know what the 100% rep thing means, and will probably be pretty active. Also have a friend who may get guild wars 2 and will join at around the same time, same boat as me, knowing absolutely nothing.

We have our magic find buff now running in addition to regular +xp buffs. Upgrades are being completed as fast as the system allows to allow us to be fully operational as fast as possible.

Last night we did an Arah Story run for a guild member who needed it to complete their personal story, completed some events and helped members learn their class and further develop their builds.

I am a newbie to MMO’s and have managed to get my ranger leveled to 80 but have never run any dungeons or done anything other than run around the maps. I was hoping to find a guild that would not mind teaching from the very beginning. I know nothing about anything having to do with the the majority of the game including what gear to have or how I should “build” my character (basing this on other posts I have read) and would appreciate any help. I am currently on Emhry Bay but am willing to transfer if this works out well. I am on from 12am – 3am EST on M,T, Th, F and available all day on W, Sa, and Su. I am also willing to take advice and help on all of the different races and classes to help me become a more rounded player. I can only do in game chat or mail as I have no voice comms. Please let me know if I would be a good fit for your guild. Thank you!

Hey there!

Your welcome to join us and we can help as much as possible. However voice comms is going to be pretty much required to be effective at certain times. You don’t have to talk or have a mic. Just listen in. This is how we communicate dungeon strategies/directions, build & class discussion, WvW directions & everything pretty much. Sure we can chat some via chat channel but your seriously going to kitten your game play experience but not at least signing in to voice comms. We have people who just listen in. So if you have the capability to do that, I highly recommend you take advantage of that.

Either way we’d be happy to help you as best we can. Just let me know if still interested and I’d be happy to send you an invite.
