Sorting out our teams for the dungeon runs on Mondays too. We have some pretty tough characters. We could form a third team if we get more interest too !

Very successful first explorable dungeon run on Monday. Not as tough as I was expecting it to be (done in less than an hour, no wipes, I think). Bodes well !

The crew of Destiny grouped up on the west shore of the Southsun cove. They were all looking up in the sky, at a small distant shape that was heading their way. It slowly grew closer and easier to see, and soon they all could wonder at the airship that was to take them to the Ring of Fire.

Just got back to this great bunch of people I’ve known since SWG. And I must say, they’re going as strong and well as they always did. Great place to be in!

we have plots running nearly every day and plenty of stuff between.

Tried to run Arah explorables last night, bit tougher than Honour of the Waves ! Still, we will adapt..

As the airship Litany of Fury rose into the skies, the majestic Fort Trinity turned in front of their eyes into a tiny spec far bellow the airship that rose above the clouds. In front of them were the wastelands of Orr, that were now slowly being reclaimed from the vanquished dragon Zhaitan. And somewhere beyond, well bellow the horizon, the vulcano at the Ring of Fire waited for them.

Join us and find a nice bunch of people. Also much laughing when we try dungeons and fractals.

Currently planning the intro event for our newest RPing member.

In this character intro event, we rescued two Asura from the Inquest. They then joined the crew of the Destiny:

We finally rescued the captives we’d been trying to track down for weeks. It wasn’t without tragedy. The mastermind responsible for the plot escaped our revenge. The next story arc “Nemesis” begins on Sunday.

In our weekly social RP, getting to know our newest crew members, whom we rescued in a previous quest:

Dungeoneering has been proceeding apace. We’re must be getting better as we’ve not met any serious resistance for a while. Practice makes perfect as they say

The start of a new month and our story arc moves into a new plot. Our GMs work hard to bring our members exciting and immersive clues and plot twists to follow. They could teach the devs a thing or two about how to keep us interested and involved

We follow up on rumours to a cave regarding the fate of the kidnapped:

Continued onwards with dungeoneering Monday, Caudecus’s Manor all completed, onwards for next time..

What is the signifance of a black raven and an eagle? Our adventurers are puzzling over hints and clues and whether the Priory representative is as friendly as she seems.

Vulcano announced it’s erruption around them, as the cave started shaking, smoke started spewing from the depths of the cave, and the dust started to pour from the ceiling. Then the cave started to shake stronger, and the falling dust turned into falling rocks. “Run! We must leave now!” – Captain Witte’s voice was heard above the raising noise. “Where is Philip” – Lettuce yelled out, and looked backwards, where she last saw Philip. As the group rushed for the exit, Sam yelled out – “Where it Lettuce? And where is Philip?”

With a difficult decision to make our RP’ers have 72 hours to decide which devil to choose from.

Sam had set down her backpack on the highest platform above the lava, giving her a good view of her crew mates below and an even better sight of the flowing lava, which still amazed her even after spending a few hours in the cave.

She was tugging at the leather of her coat, trying to stretch it a bit, when hurried footsteps caught her in surprise. Leinandri’s red horns appeared first, followed by the inquisitive eyes of the Sylvari and her eternal cheerful smile.

“Sam! Here you are! Look what I found!” she exclaimed as she knelt by the thief and showed a glinting crystalline rock.

“Hey Lettuce!” greeted Sam and peered curiously at the item in Lei’s hands. “I saw it b’fore! Ya gottit from sum weird lamp inna tent, yeah?”

“That was a lamp?”

“I dunno, mebbe it ain’t?”

“It’s too pretty to be just a lamp, Sam!”

“What d’ya wanna do with it, mate?”

“I could give it to you!”

Sam laughed and so did Leinandri as she offered the small crystal to her friend.

“We could do stuff like Ouuk an’ do sum experimatation with it, if ya wanna?”

“Oh yes, that sounds very good.” The Sylvari looked around quickly, inspecting their surroundings.
“There isn’t much here though and the storm has started outside. Maybe we could throw it in the air?”

Sam grinned mischievously. “Or inna lava! I betcha we can find lotsa rocks. We could compare ‘em an’ stuff. Which ones sink an’ which dun an’ how long they take!”

“It won’t be pretty anymore. It’ll be gone!”

“Ya gotta have rocks in yer Dream, doncha?”

“You’re right, Sam! We can send Nildael and your family plenty of pretty rocks! Then they can build rock castles!”

Sam laughed again and crawled to the edge to peer down at the ground a bit further ahead.

“Sure, yeah! Grab yer stuff an’ take it here, then we find rocks an’ we send ‘em in th’Dream.”

The asura in a side-campaign are having fun too. I still think bio-golems with a propensity to eat people are a great leap forward. I know some might disagree, but not the Inquest (ulp)

With their mission for the Order of Whispers over, the crew of Destiny needs to decide will they accept the patronage and orders of the Durmand Priory, or the Vigil. They also have the option to sail away, and follow their own path in unlocking the secrets held in the ship’s hold.

We continue with the Nemesis plot arc.

The crew have decided to allow a member of the Priory to leave a device on their ship rather than have crew members leave due to a dislike of other options.

We have sailed to Orr only to discover that the answer to the next part of the quest lies where “the cold meets the darkness” in a distance land far from Orr.

Our investigation concludes:

“Where The Cold meets the Darkness” hint learned in Orr is leading the crew of Destiny to the Lornar’s Pass and the Reaper’s Gate located there. What will they find there, only time will tell.

On the road from Lion’s Arch towards the Lornar’s pass and Reaper’s Gate, Sam Brook lost his composure, when the crew found a green dress laid on a tree stump. “It’s evil!” – he yelled out, fear evident in his voice.

Enrif touched the knife holding the dress with the tip of his sword, and in an instant, the dress turned into ribbons, and the knife exploded into a dust cloud, blinding everyone.

Onward with more dungeoneering tonight, probably going to have to try Arah…about the only thing that has given us serious problems so far !
