Guild Wars 2

Hi,

I’m an oldtimer in MMORPG years. I’ve been around at the birth of the first MMORPGs, and I’ve played quite a few of them.

At the moment, I’m having a blast with Guild Wars 2. Selected the unofficial RP server because I tend to enter character whenever it strikes my fancy. I’ve attended RP events, if the world was believable and well written, and I feel, this is the case with GW2.

I’ve just hit 80 with my first character (a mesmer), and I think I could gather more fun from continuing to play with a guild. You know, one that understands that the older you get, the more you look for a relaxed atmosphere. One that understands that although I’ve enjoyed PvP in other games (namely SWTOR), I might not have the reflexes to battle other players in here. One that does a dungeon here, maybe some jumping puzzle stuff there, and show me around a bit. I’m sure there’s much more to explore in this fascinating world.

I speak german as my native tongue, but fancy myself to be a pretty good english speaker. I have no problem with the teamspeaks and raidcalls of the world (not shy), play a mean game of poker, and am an all around friendly, though a kittenauvinistic guy.

So, if you would have me, I’d be happy to join up. Maybe there’s more mature people out there, and maybe they’ve rotted together. I’d like to rot along.
