Guild Wars 2

Player Looking for an English speaking EU server Guild. Ideally a guild that accepts casual/social/leveling players – as I’m new to GW2 and a long way from end-game and raid ready. Longer term I would be interested in raiding – but NOT hard-core mode. I’m on Desolation server but I guess a nice guild on any EU server is fine. Currently I mostly play daytimes – so hopefully a guild with some daytime population would be good. I do play some evenings but work and real life make my evenings a bit random.

Yes I’m new to GW2 but have played several MMOs for more than 10 years. (Mostly SWTOR, WoW, AOC and Lotro – but also a few others briefly). I started GW2 just a few weeks ago – and I’m enjoying leveling several characters. I’m 30+ and have TS, Vent, Mumble and all that stuff. I focus mostly on PVE, but will occasionally try some PVP. WvW sounds fun.

I had a peak through some pages on this forum here – but its hard to get a good view, and the link to the Desolation guild list seems to be broken.

We have a few members with a daytime presence so maybe The Messengers Quest is something for you? We’re a guild that is friendly and focused on the ‘’playing together’’ part of the game. Currently TMQ has around 40 members with a core group of 15 that are enjoying the game together which includes helping each-other out with leveling/playing and all the PvE content.

The Messengers Quest is a friendly Europe based social guild. We promote a fun, mature atmosphere that allows a good group of people to come together to enjoy Guild Wars 2 in all of it’s many aspects. We do have our own voice-comm server (via discord) and a website with forums to keep it touch with the TMQ community. W’re looking for a diverse group that can participate in: Dungeons, Exploration, Questing, PvP, helping each-other out and soon Raids.

TMQ welcomes all players be it starters or veterans, we are active in all areas of the game from PvP to dungeons, from dragon hunting to guild missions.
The only thing we ask in return from our members is that they’re actively taking part and contributing in the guild instead of ‘’being just a name on the roster’’, that they’re actively and regularly taking part in contributing in the guild and its channels such as the website and the discord server. Gamewise TMQ expects a regular participation in planned and spontaneous events as these are at the core of any fun, loving, caring and active Guild.

TMQ is different to many other guilds, we want to do more than just play together and kill things, although we do love killing things! We want to be more than just a guild; we want to create a community for all types of players, serious and casual. As a Europe based Guild, TMQ uses CET/CEST for planning our events, dungeons, missions, etc., therefore the Guild’s Prime Time is around 19.00h CE(S)T – 01.00h CE(S)T.

I’m not sure if you may have found a guild already. But the guild DKB (Divine Knights of Balthazar) may be something for you.

We are a large English speaking guild, that actually has quite a few people on the Desolation server. Since we are a large guild we have a variety in the experience of players and we also have a lot of people online during the day. We seem to have a friendly and interactive community, we’re often having chats in the guildchat and a some people also like to go on teamspeak to chat.

The guild likes to do a lot of stuff together like fractals, dungeons, raiding, map completion, meta events and so on. Everyone just says in the guildchat that they’re going to do something and ask if people want to join. We also have PVE/Fractal/PVP/Raid officers to help out with all of these contents and to host events etc.
