Guild Wars 2

We are not hardcore gamers, we play mostly after dinner 4 or 5 hours on daily basis, we like wvw but sometimes we enjoy a fractal, a dungeon or anything else the game offer to make some extra gold (maybe excluded the living story, but that’s OT :P ).

Lately we have some serious trouble to play wvw at a higher level, due to lack of players and lack of will, so we are considering moving on.
We are of course available to transfer, we have commanders but we will be fine to follow, we are looking for a game style above the casual and below the hardcore. We are available to discuss builds, to change it in relation to the rest of the guild.
We are looking for a smart played wvw, for fights and for points, with at least 15 people every day. We use Team Speak.
On a side note: we used to do GvGs.

We also take our time: we set the beginning of the League season as deadline to decide if transfer, to where and finally find an italian guild that looks for skilled players whom we are.
This post is mostly to have a clear sight of the situation outside Ring of Fire.

So, if you are in a position to make decisions for your guild, and you feel interested by having such a bunch of players in your team in the near future, post your reply!

SFR has a very big wvw italian guild called OSC, im not sure if they are recruiting. might be worth a shot to have a chat with them

We are a dedicated WvW roaming guild currently around 15/18 members during raids. We have 5 to 6 organized WvW runs almost all evening from 21pm +1gmt till 24, sometimes to 1/1.30 on good evenings. Some evenings are better than other, really depends on the matchup and not by us.

We play with team builds and try stay out of the ally zerg. We changed from a full Italian guild to international a few months ago: " During WvW events directions will be given in English, the teamspeak itself is semi Italian/English " Half of the guild is currently international, but the older core remains Italian.

And we do not do GvG, because GvG’s are simply killing the game and the roaming. We prefer roam and fight because this is more fun than sieging. Less people log in during the work hours due to most of us working. We have teamspeak, forum and website.

We are mainly a WvW guild, Guild Missions are on Sunday together with another guild after which do WvW as normal.

For clarity, If we’ll move, I think a number between 6 to 10 players will move. Not the whole guild, just a few WvW lover.

btw: I saw XxX videos. I liked a lot the “once we were noobs” slogan!

Meh. Why would you move. We will win the bronze league! I seriously think the bronze league will be fun. No blobby servers and for once RoF has a chance to win. [NaZ] is one of the few original RoF guilds left, it would be a shame to lose you too.

Atm we are just considering variuos options to raise the quality of our wvw experience. Transfer is only an option amongs others, but I’d like to know better

I really hope that league system will cntribute to settle things, but I’m not too optimistic.

Piken has several italian guilds. You might want to touch base with Ciuffo.6384, or Froscolo (in game). There’s a few others, but I forget the contacts/names unfortunately. Those two could probably fill you in on the status however.

as i told you in game,

i’m Tifa Eg Lockhart, leader of Villani Maleducati [VM] and commander of underworld since november.
we count 170+ members atm, italians only.
our core goal is WvW, mainly after dinner (21:30 is the guild peak time), but even during the day just shout in guild chat and surely 2/3 will always answer.
on peak time we are trying to run in formations of 10+ with spike team and tank team, trying to use the build i’ve made (and i welcome any suggestions of NAZ).
i will grant some of you the right to claim WvW camps/towers/keeps so u can use the guild buff and i’ll be really happy if some of you can take over me or isma hell or demon ed while commanding (we have 3 commanders in guild).
in case u need guild commendations, we have all guild missions unlocked to do 2 days each week (scheduled).

1)if League will be set by rating, RoF will fight against only 2 stronger servers: Dzag and FSP. Any of tis servers dont have numbers like Gandara or AG. And that will be good for bronze league. Because bronze league will be “small scale” league and there will be a ton of fun here.
2)transfering higher, you need to transfer to T1 or T4 servers.
3)those servers have big numbers and what we on RoF seen, there is no place for small scale fights. Join blob or die.
4)going to other servers than T1 and T4 is pointless because those will be stomped by T1 and T4. Look how Underwold is holding against Baruch Bay.
5) we will miss you on RoF if you guys transfer (but if we ever see you on the other side, we will hunt you to death/joke)

Hule, you are almost 100% right. The obvious exception to point 3) are Nemesys and XxX

We always hope to raise player level here, as said, we are evaluating all the options and transfer is one of many.

For point 5) we have a lot of friends in rof, they all will be missed, but yeah, we also NEVER stop hunting you (check videos ;p)

I have seen what you did to poor Zeerit. Make him a bait? Did he agreed to such humiliation? :-D
Number 3 have same exceptions, but look on what we got this week. And those are servers only 6 ranks higher.
And face the truth, if UW wont get very better than they are now, they will fight only higher rank servers. And maybe FSR. And this may hurt UW a lot, because when League will start, people may think about moving from UW, not to UW.

I think the League start will see a lot of people migrate, like before every single match up update. We will see more people in the lowest league rank than we expect. We are aware of this.

I also pm’d to all the people who contacted me, but I want make public our decision.
This week about 15 Nazguls transferred to Gandara and joined the Insert Coin [IC] guild. We made this choice as a group, and we had to choose because the wvw on RoF did not satisfy us any more.
The majority of Nazguls are still in RoF and some of them still. play a casual wvw.
I want personally thanks all commanders and Gm who contacted us and offered us a new home. We will miss RoF, as we spent months by your side since launch and we known many people from many nations.
