SoR… You’re not on T1 anymore… Take my advise: Don’t ask for zerg blob guilds.

Most of these guild come down to lower servers, feast upon our already low population, and when they get annoyed by somenthing, they leave with everyone that they could grab from your server… I’ve seen this happen many times, and I’m sure this will happen again.

Instead let the casuals do the zerg blobing… While small guilds work to suport the zerg. Many small guilds can be just as effective as a big one (or maybe even more effective depending on how they handle things).

We are not looking to stack our server, we just want to stabilize and have a consistent force.

Well, I guess my vision of blob is different of yours… The only guild I know that can field that much consistently down here on bronze is CoSA. And CoSA is the official Zerg-Blob-Guild around these parts… (Ask any other bronze server player)

Anyway, good luck on your recruitment… Its a shame that SoR fell apart, I had fun fighting you guys while I was on BG and we were both T2.

Ha believe me, with all the time we spent in T1 I know a lot about blobbing, it really ruins wvw, because it becomes less about skill and more about numbers, not to mention all the performance issues that come with it, and the need to constantly stack your server to stay competitive. Personally I like running with small/decent sized zergs. But for SoR we basically just need a consistent WvW force since we are basically running mainly militia, which is quite strong and will only be more encouraged if we have a more solid and stable wvw presence once again.

Not only we need new guilds, I want to belive that we have a lot of people in our server who only needs to know that things have changed a lot since soeason 1 and I hope all those people can give another chance to WvW and all the new guilds and people who log in every day to play in the WvW maps in our server SoR.

We are not looking for blobs, we need guilds that can field a decent size, and are not looking to stack our server, we just want to stabilize and have a consistent force. Guilds that can field around 20-25 are perfect.

I’m on SBI, and we don’t have that many guilds that can field 20-25. Most of our force is consistent of small guilds that can do 5-10, and pugs. We do have some larger guilds, like KWBH, and our 20-25 are mainly guilds like DETH, and DDLG. Myth can field a decent amount and so can Abyss when they rally.

but, 10-20 is more of a typical amount, but again, most of our numbers are pugs and militia. People who are part ov PvE or PvX guilds, who like to WvW a lot.

Also, guilds are mainly transferring up (even t3 lost most their guilds to t2 a few months ago).

Thank you Andrew, our main focus right now is to have stable coverage, we lack the numbers atm. While a guild that can field 20-25 daily is great, it is by no means a number set in stone. We want guilds who want to be part of a team effort. So even if your guild can field 5-10 a night, we would love to have you. We want consistency and team players and not mercenaries. Those numbers would be a great help and would contribute tremendously. And please do keep in mind we are not looking to stack our server. We are not interested in dealing with blobbing, double teaming, and the rest of that bs that goes on in T1. We want to have fun together with friendly people interested in working as a team.

Even if you are not a WvW guild and is an individual that is looking for a friendly server to join. SoR would be a good place for it.

SoR is in a bad spot because we’re forced into a tier we shouldn’t be in. We don’t have the coverage to fight in Silver, but we can’t leave until the tournament is over, so a lot of people are getting frustrated and not wanting to return to WvW. Just know it should get better.

In all seriousness, SoR did not have a chance to stabilize prior to the start of the tournament. Given our tumble, we never had the opportunity to land in the “sweet spot” for server transfers. Instead, we landed in the worst absolute spot.

However, there are dedicated people here. The community is not all gone. The remnants of what was a perceived shattered community have banded together to become a fairly formidable group in a short period of time. I am pretty certain that any server that has faced us in the past few months has had their moments where they can say “wow, SoR has surprised us”. We are may not be winning each round, but we are putting up a heck of a fight with 1/3rd the force.

I am proud of this server and its members. In no way will I ever consider leaving to any other server, even if we were in place 24 for WvW. If I was the last commander to tag up on the map, then so be it. This is home. And I hope there are more people out there (after the tournament is over) that want to make Sanctum of Rall their home, as well.

Sanctum of Rall isn’t going anywhere. The past few weeks i’ve actually seen an increase in activity if anything else. The fights where we are, are phenomenal. Getting out of T1 has been a blessing in disguise. I used to dread my WvW events, now I look forward to them. Guild Wars 2 is fun again. With Tier 1 comes Tier 1 problems. Egos, Having to be the Best at all times, Bickering, and the well know bandwagoners that do nothing but complain all day. In the lower tiers people don’t play for wins and losses they play for fun. It’s been the thing that I forgot existed in Guild Wars 2. WvW has been the highlight of my gaming week.

Precisely. Get our PvE people (the ones those ego-driven SoR deserter guilds referred to as “the militia”, a.k.a. “fodder”) motivated to play in WvW. Let them take their lumps, coach them, make them better.

A guild that transfers to our server will eventually leave. Think about it; if they left another server to come to SoR, why wouldn’t they leave SoR to go somewhere else? They did it once, they will do it again.

Be happy our exodus happened; it left the real Rallians behind and rid us of the undesirables.

The Tournament is over, and SoR is ready to rebuild. We are looking for all friendly players and guilds that are sick and tired of the blobbing, the queues, and feeling like the only way to do WvW is by zerging with a bunch of loudmouth abusive idiots. Whether you are a single player or a guild that fields 5-10 people we will welcome you with open arms so long as you are friendly and enjoy working in a team atmosphere. Time to enjoy WvW again.

SoR has gained some new blood from higher tiers, and from what I am told, they are loving the community and the friendly competitive atmosphere we have at SoR more than their higher tier servers! This is our foundation! We play for fun, play for community, and if we win, then we will win! This does not mean that we do not try, because our activity has been on the rise since community and friendliness has surpassed elitism. As always, we are looking to grow our community with friendly, community-minded guilds that want to engage in a growing WvW community that still understands what FUN is in the competitive battlefield!

SoR is expanding! We have seen some new blood join amongst our ranks, and from what I gather, this is the home they have been looking for! Message me to inquire about Sanctum of Rall and why this can be a good place for your guild. In SoR, community is #1, and any guild that desires to build a tight-knit community is A-OK in my book!

Finished our first week after tournament and I along with so many others here in SoR had an absolute blast. We came together as a community, worked great as a team, we had fantastic communication, and oh so many great fights with a healthy respect for ppt. This is what we have to offer in SoR, it doesnt matter if you are a guild or a solo player, you can always just jump right in and work together in a fantastic team environment focused on coordination and communication. Thank you everyone for helping me enjoy wvw again!

We had a fantastic week, finished #1 by well over 100k WOW, and another strong start to this week, last I looked we were up by 14k, folks we are fighting hard and standing strong together!

It’s an exciting time to be a Rallian! The SoR Community now stands united in its goal to create the best playing environment for all Rallians as Hardocre WvWers, PvE casuals and flexible PvXers have come together to run server wide events in PvE, WvW and Server forums.

For those who like a good dose of PvE, story and farming; our guilds run events such as but not limited to daily Tequatl, bi-weekly server community guild mission runs and even special server wide activities such as “Tier 5 in Dry top” for farming.

SoR WvW is cooperative and non-toxic. We do not currently have the coverage of much higher ranked servers at the moment but you can rest assured that when you log on there will be tags ready to lead the growing Rallian presence which has welcomed its new friends who have been looking for a good community to permanently call home and old friends trickling back from long breaks or from upper tiers who just missed the good times they had in the community.

Participation in Server community activities is encouraged and rewarded with raffle prizes such as full armor sets (periodically) and even legendaries (GTA). As of writing SoR is ranked 18 and on the rise, who knows what the future holds, but take comfort in that when the times comes the men and women who will stand shoulder to shoulder with you and with whom you will most assuredly enjoy your time with will be experienced, dedicated and Rallian.

Another great week, we won by over 100k, we had great teamwork and cooperation, and started off strong this weekend moving up 3 ranks and a tier, great work everyone!

Really need some SEA coverage. One guild that fields 10-15 at a time can make a world of difference! Inquire within!

IMHO the SoR community currently has a consistent dedicated presence in all Time zones and with the recent changes enough to cover our EB corner and home BL during OCX and SEA, at this point what we need are players that can spearhead forays into enemy territory and perhaps act as rapid reactionary forces when opponents attempt to blob our fortifications.

Hey everyone, sorry for my long absense, been busy dealing with stuff. SoR is back to kicking kitten , and winning matches, and most importantly having fun in a friendly environment. We dont look to stack our server, we dont buy guilds, we encourage individuals who are sick and tired of the garbage that goes in t1, or the imbalances in t2, etc etc to come join us and start enjoying WvW again. SoR has so many great people, many great guilds, and we fight hard.
