Tyrs Paladium is a multi-game, drama free, zerg free 30+ yr old (most are early 30s-70s+) guild.

We are an American guild with an international/Euro flavor. We are happy to arrive in the Guild Wars 2 community, and are seeking new blood. We plan to have members on at all times, but left & right coasters (from California to New York) in the US should find plenty on during peak hours.

Here’s your chance to start with a legendary guild with a household name in DDO, Neverwinter, and Sword Coast Legends (9+ years old guild) and help build our Chapter here in Guild Wars 2 from the ground up.

Just an example of what we stand for, as a guild, here is a video highlighting a past Veteran’s Day event, which was open to anyone who chose to attend, to share just a few minutes of their time with retired and active military from around the world. We hold two ceremonies a year to show our appreciation, Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day. We’ll be bringing our solemn ceremony to Guild Wars 2 as soon as we can. Hope ya’ll enjoy.

Tyr is the Faerûnian deity of Law and Justice in DnD. Since we have been in the position many times in game and on the official forums, to define why we care so much to defend honest play and camaraderie, we have made it our mission to create a family of gamers that can together as a team accomplish ANYTHING the elitist/all raid guilds accomplish, in an environment that’s friendly, relaxed, fun and addicting.

Today, we remain one of the largest mid sized, longest lasting guilds. Why do I say mid sized? Because we have been extremely selective in who we hire. We hire on personality only. Its our guildies that should get the credit for our guild’s reputation that they earned. Paks and I were there leading the way in the beginning, and throughout when necessary, but its our guildies today that lead the way. It’s because of them why we became successful.

Paladium. The word Paladium is a play on Palladium… which we feel embodies a group of like minded people that come together to relax and have a good time. A Fortress which represents FREEDOM from the typical MMO gamer. And FREEDOM represents what some of our fine guildies have fought for in real life, in uniform. For them, we are truly grateful.

Our guild just raised $435 in real life for two families that couldn’t afford to give their children gifts for Christmas. There were two sets of bright little tike smiles due to the generosity of our guild elders. When our guildies tell the guild founders (Paks and myself) that we are family, and we witness something like this, we have no choice but to feel the heart of this guild beat.

Well HELLO Diansta! We are on Dragonbrand. One of the beauties of this game is server fortunately does not matter for any PvE content, we can all join up together and party up!

Casual is King in Tyrs… we are a very close knit community … and everyone really does know everybody, so friendships are guaranteed here with the slightest participation in game and on our private guild forum. We’ve had a spectacular November and December, and due to new recruits blending right in, we find no need to close our gates now, as we normally like to do on occasion.

Well January is another record setting recruitment month, not in only number of recruits, but in the percentage that actually stuck. ALL OF THEM!!!

So I’m interested in your guild, but suck at long form questions. I can give a few basics about myself but work best in answering questions in a real time format. I’m a 30 year old veteran of MMOs. I’ve played WoW, DDO briefly, Everquest 2, Guild Wars, and several others. I have an odd play schedule as I work at night around 5pm CST so I play during the day mainly. I’ve noticed a lot of D&D talk so I feel like I should mention that I play Pathfinder with several friends twice a month. I used to be a semi-hardcore player in WoW participating in lots of end game raids. I don’t want that anymore but I do enjoy end game things. I’d mainly like to play with adults and at my own speed. Zianadra everything sounds good but I do need you to fill out the app for serveal reasons, the most important reason is because its required by the web developers as its tied into website features. By filling out an app and adding characters to the Tyrs Roster on the forum, you can sign up for group runs and other events. I’m returning to the game and am looking to join a guild, and this one sounds pretty great. One question though, do many of your guild members have an interest in running the dungeons? I never did them the first time I played, but I want to now as well as all teh other PVE content. I know the dungeon rewards were nerfed and ArenaNet focuses on Raids nowadays, but I imagine the dungeons are still interesting with fun content and lore.
