Hey everybody!

I joined Tyrs about a month ago after coming back to GW2 after about a 1.5 year break from the game. I can’t say enough good things about Tyrs Just an awesome group of people! Seriously, I had absolutely no experience in fractals or dungeons (we’re just about to start raids!), and the Tyrs member (some of which are super powerful players!!!) were more than happy to give me a hand at low level stuff even though they were clearly more suited to very high level stuff. Tyrs members are all about helping everybody and having fun with open world content, guild missions, and of course even in-game chat! Do you suck at vistas or jumping puzzles? Guaranteed there will be a Tyrs mesmer that will portal you Have you never done a dungeon or fractal? Guaranteed a group of Tyrs members will join up with you to get you through it

Last night we hosted a Memorial Day guild wide event in game.

I created three custom videos for the Ceremony, and the links and transcript are provided below.

Tyrs Paladium’s traditional opening ceremony poem (which we’ve recited for each ceremony we’ve done over the years):

Tyrs Paladium wishes to bring awareness to two brave and super talented soldiers, and especially their song which drives a STRONG MESSAGE.

Here’s their story. After 15 years of war, two talented soldiers cross paths and discover a mutual love of music.
First Lt. Andrew Yacovone and First Lt. Justin Wright were Army rangers writing and producing country songs while on deployment in Afghanistan.

The pair met on their first day of infantry basic training for officers in 2014. They wrote to the USO that they had written some songs together and the USO hooked them up with sound and video equipment and they made this video while off duty, walking up and down the streets and passageways of Afghanistan… reminiscing on all the brothers they lost.
The song was released just today, and it has been dedicated to those they lost closest to them, 2LT Justin L. Sisson, PFC Jacob H. Wykstra, SSG Benjamin G. Prange, and PV2 Keith M. Williams.

Currently deployed in Afghanistan, Interstate 10 still releases their Memorial Day tribute music video (recorded in Afghanistan) to their song “I’m Gonna Miss You”. The message is simple:

“Memorial Day is about remembering the ones we lost and supporting their loved ones. It’s about celebrating the lives they lived. Thanking them for allowing us the opportunity to come home safe, and most of all, thanking them for a second chance to hug our loved ones.”

They have vouched to donate $500 to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation if they reach 100,000 views on the YouTube music video between Friday’s release and midnight of Memorial Day. This video and song are in memory of all the soldiers who have died fighting for our country. Especially those they knew personally: 2LT Justin L. Sisson, PFC Jacob H. Wykstra, SSG Benjamin G. Prange, and PV2 Keith M. Williams.

Sgt. 1st Class Benjamin B. Wise and Family

I was sent this picture a few weeks ago from a personal friend of mine and 25 year member of the US Army Jim Leary, who’s inspired many of our military guild events over the years. It was a photo of a boy sitting in the corner of his bedroom looking at a photo of his father. It instantly drew me in. Something about that photo… there was a story that was meant to be told.

The story is indeed unforgettable. This family is only one of six families know to have had this scenario happen to them in all recorded American history.

“In Flanders Fields” remains to this day one of the most memorable war poems ever written.

Gerald Flemming wrote this beautiful music to the classic words of In Flanders Fields. Gerald is playing guitar and singing the male vocal. Allison Lynn is singing duet with him.

I also manage to tell the story of Canada’s Vimy Memorial.

Every day, Michael Reagan remembers fallen soldiers in the most beautiful way: by drawing them.

He draws portraits of fallen soldiers to send to their families and to pay tribute to them. Hear Michael’s story and see a family receive a portrait of their son that Michael drew. This Memorial Day, USAA is joining Michael in remembering these soldiers.

Hey There. I just wanted to throw out my opinion of “Tyrs Paladium” Joined this guild about 1.5 months ago & really happy. Been gaming for along time & this is the best guild I’ve been in, by far.

Awesome mature members, Active people, easy going, helpful, No Uber attitudes & just a great bunch of fun people. I could go on & on about the positives. As for negatives, I haven’t really encountered any.

So far we do everything Pve, PvP, WvW etc: etc: Win or lose it’s still great fun.

Relaxed, welcoming, and easy-going – you won’t be tripping over egos in [TYRS]. Hello All.

Been playing since AOE , neverwinter nights. GW 1. Mostly solo. Tried a few Guilds / clans in the past. Joined a guild recently, bought a Headset with mic for TS , have probably used it for 15 minutes in last month. Not much interaction so I’m knocking on a few doors to see if anyone will let me in. Casual player , some elite gear but mostly concentrating on 100% map completion and missions.

Play mostly evenings , weekends if i have time. GMT+1 zone.

Hi all,

I found this guild page trough another post on the forum of a returning player.
Recently i came back to GW2 and i’m very interested in joining the guild, I had a guild back in the day which had same values as you guys, and I absolutely loved playing together with those people who became friends over time.

Are you guys doing a lot of raids? I really want to get into raiding. Vale guardian and Gorvesal i already killed a couple of times but never managed to kill Sabetha. After that i quit GW2 for a while and now i came back to the game a lot more raiding content has been added. I’m patient and not one to go salty on others who are trying to learn.

Small detail is that i’m from belgium and I don’t know if you guys have a lot of active people during european peak times so to speak.
