Guild Wars 2

Hi!

I am a player new to Guild Wars 2 but with a lot of raiding experience looking for a raiding guild.

Server preference: EU (will accept any guild server)
Play Type Preference: PvE (I want to raid!)
Player Style: I used to raid semi-hardcore in Rift, but I am looking to play more casually
Active Time: I am most commonly online in the afternoons and evenings
Voice preference: very active
Social preference: I would like to be part of a tight-knit group with not too much fluctuation and mostly mature players (I’m over 30)

I am a very mature and helpful player who enjoys the international community gaming offers and loves the high that coordinating a group of players in order to beat PvE content brings.

I have owned Guild Wars 2 for a while but only played a little. I feel kind of lost and lonely in game and would appreciate the help and motivation a guild can offer so I don’t waste time and ressources to get raid ready.

I am an experienced raider and raided semi-hardcore in Rift for about two years (with Destiny, Last Dawn and Harshmallows). At some point the requirements you had to fulfill to stay competitive got insanely grindy and time consuming so I quit after raiding 9-12 hours (sometimes 16) a week.

I am now looking for a guild that raids and is willing to help someone completely new to Guild Wars 2 prepare for raiding. It would probably feel most at home if some of the members had also played Rift before.

I have mostly played rogue characters in my previous MMOs so if thieves are a viable profession for raids I would prefer to stick with the archetype, but I am happy to adapt if necessary. In Rift I was mostly focussed on melee dps, but I have also raided as ranged dps, healer, support and sometimes (very rarely) tank.

Hey there! I’ve read your post and I would love to have you in our Guild. We’re having Training and Veteran Raids in our Guild, we also got a few Raid Officers for who want to do their own raids It’s always fun having more people to do raids with. We’re not a full Raid Guild, we’re a PvE and PvP Guild.

We’re definitely not the best fit for you right now, but I’d still like to invite you to check us out. We’re Cloud of Sparrows, a small family-like oriented guild, we’re heavily oriented towards the PvE aspect of GW2, although we do have hardcore WvW and PvP players.

At this point, we mostly run dungeons and fractals but we have a raiding roster coming up and we’re looking for people who would be interested in joining us from the very start. We have a relaxed and laid back attitude but that has never stopped us from bringing the maximum of our capabilities to the table.
