Who are we?

RAGE is a WvW guild with a strong focus on group based PvP combat. We run nightly raids from 7:00-10pm UK time during which we seek out and engage enemy zergs and guild groups. Our goal is to be one of the most effective PvP guilds in the EU WvW ladder whilst maintaining a fun, friendly, and drama free environment.

RAGE Raids.

Raids are the most important event within RAGE. For three hours each night we get to focus on what we do best, fighting! We go where the action is and make ourselves available to commanders as a mobile fighting force that can be called on to destroy enemy groups. Our raids allow us to practice and experiment with different ideas so that we can continually improve and test ourselves.

Who we’re looking for.

We’re looking for players with a mature attitude, no corpse jumping, no kittening at commanders or other players, and no trolling in map chat, it reflects badly on the guild and damages our reputation. Be nice and keen to improve and you’ll fit in great.

Requirements.

1. High skill level and strong understanding of your class. We expect our members to be good PvP players who bring something valuable to the team.
2. Be open to criticism and suggestions. We want the group to perform at its best and that may require you to change your build or play style to suit the raid. Ego needs to take a back seat, your build may be great for 1v1 but that’s rarely what we need in raids or GvGs and if your not wiling to change then we don’t have room for you.
3. Gold for raiding gear. New members can expect to pay around 20-30g to meet all the weapon/gear/stats requirements for our raids.
4. Voice comms during raids. Communication is key, we expect you to keep up and be aware of what’s going on around us and the only way to do that successfully is to have you on Teamspeak and receiving updates in real time.
5. A powerful PC. If your PC grinds to a halt in zerg fights then you’ll be unable to keep up and will be a huge liability in our more difficult fights.
6. Remaining active. We aim to keep our roster as small and as active as possible and regularly remove players who have gone inactive without notifying us. As a general rule we expect members to attend at least 3 raids per week and to inform us beforehand of any extended periods of inactivity.
