Hey, I’m a fairly new player and I’m looking for an easy going, not too serious, guild to play with. I’m currently on Aurora Glade but I’m not averse to switching servers, preferably one with a very high population though!

Cheers

MrLove,

Uber Noobz. (NooB) is looking for new and seasoned players to join our guild. We are not on Aurora Glade but you could do most guild stuff without switching servers, if you decide to switch down the road that would be fine too. Below is a bit more information about our guild (It’s lengthy, sorry). As the post says we are an easy going bunch, drama free and no intense demands to play constantly or get kicked.

About us:
NooBs is an established guild on Sorrow’s Furnace whose founders originated in Guild Wars 1 and have been around since beta and launch.

Our main goal is to relax and have fun with the game, not create a second job for people. Therefore, the guild is easy going and we welcome players of all skill levels, experience, and time spent in game. We have no explicit age requirements, rules, or lengthy application processes. That being said, if you are not comfortable with either a guild that likes course humor or hearing a couple curse words here and there, we may not be the best fit for you.

What we have to offer:
»Currently 180+ members and growing, most of our members are on evening and weekends, but we do have a small daytime presence as well. We work hard to help our members meet and exceed their in-game goals.

»Dungeon Crawling: We have people able to run any type of dungeon (fotm up to lvl 30) including the typical speed runs and don’t mind teaching new members. We actively track dungeon progression and try to get our members their “Dungeon Master” achievement.

»Active Mumble: Speaking is NOT required but always encouraged as much as possible. Not only is this helpful in most group situations but it also allows you to connect with your guild mates beyond the occasionally desolate guild chat.

»Events & Activities: Active world boss participation, living story event participation, guild bonuses/banners, guild events, giveaways, and activities.

»Guild missions: We run guild bounties, treks, rushes, challenges, and puzzles so that our members may enjoy the benefits of guild commendations.

»Experienced leaders: Our leaders and officers are veteran Guild Wars players with multiple max level characters of all races and classes able to answer questions and offer assistance.

»Online Community: Website updated frequently to keep members current with events, forums discussions, Facebook Group, and many useful resources to enhance in-game experiences.

What we expect from you:
»Representation: We do NOT require 100% representation at this time, but we do ask and encourage people to represent as much as possible and join in guild events and groups. Don’t make us be your over attached girlfriend constantly pestering you with PMs to come hang out with us.

»Activity: Be active and be part of the guild! We do NOT require a specific amount of activity per week or demand your constant attention, but we don’t need members as placeholder. Please make an effort to be part of the guild and join in groups.

»Resources: Utilize your resources. Our website is the best place to keep up on events and discussions. We know not everyone is super talkative, but we want members to interact, guild chat and Mumble provides you that service.

For recruitment you need simply hit us up online http://noobz.guildportal.com or send a message in-game to myself (Wogger) or one of other other recruiters: Phyxius Animus, Kaden Kuvalai, CW, Optimal Primus, or Mystical Werewolf.

Welcome:
One of the best ways to improve your Guild Wars 2 experience is by finding a group of people that share your love of the game. At MadCast we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and friendly community, full of tight knit connections both in-game and out. We’re constantly seeking mature, respectful, active individuals to add to our membership. We stand by a code of conduct that we hold our members to, ensuring everyone enjoys their gaming time. We have our own Teamspeak server populated with folks having a great time every night across a variety of games.
Our home is on Sanctum of Rall, but we have friends and members from many servers who have found their home with us. We encourage new members to guest with us for as long as they want. Some of our members never transfer; it is up to you based on your convenience and whether or not you would like to play WvW with us. The guild is more than happy to assist dedicated and involved members with paying for a server switch. (If you need help with guesting, post here or whisper one of the officers in game for instructions.)
About MadCast:
In 2007, MadCast was founded on two basic principles. It would be a gaming community that would be extend beyond a single game, and it would be a place that exemplifies what it means to be a community.
We choose games to support based on the interests of our community. MadCast puts time and effort into making your gaming experience all it can be. The community selects Admins that display great leadership qualities, we host our own servers for (other) officially supported games, and have niches for everyone from the casual to the competitive. Admins host events on a nightly basis and there’s always something to do and someone to play with.
Weekly Guild Events:
Sunday: Dungeon Night 9PM EST followed by Guild Bounty and Rush
Wednesday: Guild Missions Bounties, Rushes, Challenges, and Puzzles 9PM EST
Friday: Fractal Friday 9pm EST
Saturday: Guild Party (Rotating Schedule of Events) 9PM EST
Guild Requirements:
We do NOT require 100% rep. We do encourage you to rep or join us in TeamSpeak as much as possible to enjoy the social aspects of our community.
We do NOT require a server transfer. As mentioned, if you would like to transfer we can help you towards that goal.
We do NOT require a certain level of time commitment. Many of our members have families and careers that prevent them from being online 8 hours a day. Please be respectful and honor commitments you make to attend events; that is all.
We do NOT require a specific level, class, experience, or event attendance. We have many new players and want you to have fun when you play.
We DO require you to be a kind, helpful, respectful, and positive contributor to our community.
How to Join the Guild:
Simply message myself kelica.8406 ,post here, or come say hello on our forums and we’ll get you involved.
Joining the MadCast guild in GW2 is not the same as joining MadCast. If you check out our website, you will see information about becoming a Full Member of MadCast. MadCast welcomes “Associate Members”, meaning we will add you to the guild, you are free to use our TeamSpeak and join our Forums, but you will not have full access to the same range of privileges as a Full Member. This is a good way to find out if MadCast is the right fit for you before applying and making a commitment. In the long run, to gain any ranking position, we require people to be an official MadCast Full Member. Applying to be a Full Member is never required to be an active and included member of our guild.
Closing:
Thanks for taking the time to visit our thread. Regardless of your decision, we hope that you can check us out on our website or Teamspeak server. Guests are always welcome to join us both in regular games as well as most events. Happy hunting folks!
