Guild Wars 2

Hello! I just made a new mechanic and I’m going into the game anew, though I have a level 80 Mesmer on the side to help with heavier guild quests and grinding, I’d really like to get my mechanic up to that tier as well. I’m on Tarnished Coast, I go on Chicago time/CST, I’ve been roleplaying for nine years, and I’m open to any sort of guild!

Also, having some assistance getting my character up to 80 would help a lot, hahaha… So basically a nice social RP guild would be best for me! And I wouldn’t mind helping out wherever I can.

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but I wanted to mention Remnants of Hope. We are a social PvX guild that pursue just about every type of gameplay available in GW2, including roleplay.

For a full description of RoH, you can see our recruitment post here or you can also check our our forums here. However, to address your interests in roleplay in particular, we host both forum and in-game roleplay events. Our forums include both GW2 roleplay as well as free roleplay (roleplay that can take place in any setting, established or created).

While we don’t ever require members to be roleplayers, the majority of our member base do participate in roleplay regularly. We are also going to be revamping our guild very soon, so if you’re interested in being a part of this, it may be a particularly good time to join.

Beyond roleplay, what sets Remnants of Hope apart from other guilds is that we have a very strong, tight-knit community. Our forums are very active and we hold scheduled events in game on a daily basis that cover every aspect of GW2. In addition to this, we have a more thorough and engaging trial process for new members than most guilds have, which is why we can make sure that A ) we get to know all new members well and have them become a close part of our community as well as B ) that we have a very friendly and active community where everyone can have fun and feel like they are a part of something greater.
